Updated OP .
This guy isn???t my favorite. Nor do I think he is my best work. Outside of that , I think he came out fucking kick ass. I based his look on quite a few illustrations and Joe variants to give us a very updated version and new Era Dial tone. I want him to be walking comms . Almost over the top but Completely believable and reliable in the field. Very hard to blend those ideas , believe it or not. All completely hand painted, including eyes , and stash . Shadowed his cheek bones. Real conduit wires and wire spools Becuase it just make sense for ???Dial Tone???. Here we go! He's a "walking comms" all right. Nice detailing on his gun.

As much as dial time doesn’t excite me as a character, he really lends himself to your particular skill set as far as using authentic materials and such. Great custom and probably better than the character deserves!
-1 point for head choice. That head is for Falcon and Falcon alone.

My favorite all time Joe. You really did him justice. Once again, staying true to the ARAH look and feel but modernizing him to fit in today's world. Your attention to detail is excellent. All the little devices and wires provides and great sense of realism.
Excellent work my brother. The paint apps are awesome. I'm glad you steered clear from the original color of his boots and kneepads and kept the color more toned down. Makes it more believable that he's a military guy. |

Oh wow brother are you even real? This is the best Dial-Tone I have ever seen. DT was one of my favorites too and you nailed it. You didn't just nail it, you built the whole damn house bro. Great work!

Never really liked Dial Tone, but the custom rocks. I really liked all the detailing, but honestly the couple of things that stood out that actually to me would make Dial Tone much more interesting.
First the mustache is KILLER. The little pencil thin and turned up ever so slightly screams WWII era French to me. So, in my mind now DT has a French accent which changes his whole character. I can see him chain smoking some cigarettes and making smart comments under his breath in a his French accent. Second, the use some Marauders WWII stuff really leans itself to my whole French WWII era vibe I got from him. I think I went a little off track, but that was my process as I took a really close look.

Rad, Slice! I really like all of the added bits and pieces of actual wiring on the figure and his radio/comms unit. You've taken Dialtone to a new level, making him seem like less of a buffoon than what the old cartoon made him out to be. This looks like a guy who you want with you, so when things start going south he can call in the back-up! Kudos!
Note: One thing I'd like to see from you is the 360 degree shots of your figures, as I am sure you didn't just customize the fronts of them... -Todd Shakka85

Looks nice. I liked the figure a lot as a kid, but didn't really like his portrayal in the media though.
