Bah, your custom sucks because it's RoC.
DAMN THATH'S FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! I always check your customs, and they're getting better and better. The sculpt on this one is superb. I must admit that at first, i was wondering which torso was that! I had the same idea of a mix of traditional warrior with modern soldier would work well, and you did it perfectly. To be honest, i like the character, but the original figure sucks. This is probably the best Budo i've seen, if not for originality, for all the work it has. My only grip are the lower legs. They're always bent outside. I fix that by swapping the lower legs (you have to swap the feet too). maybe some black knee pads, but again, just maybe. Flawless victory, Baby-J! Quote:
Cheers! The ref pic for the mask was all black. I avoided that because the shape of the eyes would mean it could look like Darth Vader (who I think was possibly inspired by the samurai anyway) but I thought in the end silver would make it look 'modern-tech'. Though I did add the red for the very reason you mention.

Thanks guys, much appreciated! Following feedback I painted the face black and added a red trim! Updated pics tomorrow - though I have a certain film to watch tomorrow first!
