Definitely lots of varying opinions of the proper Duke build, but my support of the Kwinn/Stone torso is unwavering. I agree that the Gung Ho legs were too long, or rather, made Duke too tall, but didn't like the Firefly legs on that torso, either (although I used them for Flint).
So, this is a synthesization of OB's upper build, and HHFF's lower build (who HHFF credits to meandnonelse). Not perfect, but this is what I'm rolling with for the forseeable future. Appreciate the input from everyone over on my Masterhub thread.

Definitely a great blend of the other two builds. I mean, it's not NEARLY as good as that Retro wave 3 Duke we've got coming out, but I SUPPOSE it'll tide you over until you can get your hands on that version. 😉

I agree with ya 100% on all this. In fact yours is the same exact build I used for my Duke custom back in the day. Well I used a different head, but other than that- same parts for the build. Yours looks great by the way, wish we got something that looked like this instead of the 3rd revision garbage they gave us.

I really like this figure except for the giant gun holster on his right leg.
That was one of the things that really hurt several of the earlier modern figures for me. Not only is it too big, but it is boxy.. just looks bad |

I was going to use a MTF holster, but you need the other one because of the screw situation

I’m surprised you didn’t have your custom bust a cap on “O-Face” Duke instead of Destro.

He looks great, glad you have a nice v1 Duke for your shelf now that we know what the retro one looks like. As soon as I saw that one, it cemented how happy I was with my Marauder version. You really gave him that classic look and coloring. Well done, as always!
