Really cool SD update Ax. Nailed the vintage color so I’d say all that frustration mixing paints paid off, haha.

I like!
Bonus points for 2007 25th Firefly legs Plus for finding good use for 50th Hawk upper torso Great blue color. What do you do though for touch up or paint rub in the future? For some special blends, I've sacrificed a whole bottle for a mix (like for a nice medium flesh). Just wondering what you do. Have you tried any belts? Maybe something light not too bulky? Other than that minor bit, everything is top notch! |

I really like the build despite not really liking the parts on their own. Actually, I like the 25th firefly legs a lot. It’s been sitting around for almost 2 years waiting to become Starduster.

I love both, to be honest. If I didn't know this was a custom, I'd have said these were factory made by the paint job. Excellent work!

Yeah they both look meticulously planned and executed! Really like the bulkiness on lower legs/boots on original but then the added armor on arms as well as side/hip holster on the new one stand out nicely!

Starduster is actually one of my favorite Joes as I ate the cereal and mailed away for him. I always found a way to work him into my stories as a kid. I was pumped and shocked we got him in the 25th line.
Now your custom is off the charts great and I actually think it is one of the best you have done, but man I really wish you hadn't. I was perfectly content with the 25th one and just wrapped up going back and reworking my 25th Joes as I do each year and he was one I just skipped over. Now you show off this masterpiece and I can't look at that figure with satisfaction anymore.
