It's only fair to highlight then that I'm an absolute Conan mark, and very open to different interpretations of the character in non-literary media, and also that I haven't watched that cartoon in a solid 20 years, so factor that accordingly as you decide how much time to commit to that exploration.

Finally made some wings for the Silverhawks and decided to take a.shot as if they were flying in space.

In addition to the wings, I repainted the unmasked heads as they were pretty bad before, but that is the fun part of getting a little better at something. I also resculpted Mon*Star's mouth as I never liked it not that it is great now but slightly better. Copper Kid also gets a new unmasked head.

Wow! Yesterday made this thread officially 4 years old. Can't believe the 80s project started that long ago and it's still going.
Another group redo is done. This one is really special to me as Thundercats was always neck and neck with GI Joe for my favorite cartoon. Lots of upgrades to these customs. Mumm-Ra, Jackalman, Monkian, Wiley-Kit and Kat, Cheetara and Tygra got full redos on sculpt and paint. I'll take some individual shots as well to post. Thundercats Mumm-Ra and Evil Mutants Thundercat Villains and Allies

So much good stuff and nostalgia in this thread! Love the Big Jim and the Pack figures, as I had the originals in the '70s. The Thundercats and the C.O.P.S. and Crooks figures are top notch as well! And your skills have improved over the years, which make it fun looking back at stuff and seeing how far you have come. Looking forward to the next 4 years of your custom work!

The cats are fucking incredible. They might be, and I don’t say this lightly, my favorite set among your vast library

That really means a lot especially coming from a fellow customizer. These truly were a labor of love. I thought I would do a few touchups, but once I got into it I figured if I'm "fixing" them I might as well go all in and do it right. I'm really proud of the ones I completely redid. I know I said earlier that I cringe looking back at the earlier ones I made, but honestly I just didn't have the skill set to do much better four years ago. To me that is what makes this hobby fun. You improve your skills and pick up tips and tricks from others that you can incorporate into your work.

I'm still working on taking all the individual Thundercat pictures so I'll post those once they are done. In the time being I decided to "fix" some of my favorite Joe characters that I felt got short changed in the 25th line. I'll be posting these in my Joe thread too, but I haven't taken the group shots yet so I'll hold off until then.
