Really nice Irina Spalko custom and the removable wig is a nice bonus, nice work by the way! I enjoying seeing your Oktober Guard additions.
SB is another creative built, I really the new civilian look. He looks great! |

Nice take on both Spalko and the Steel Brigade. The SB guy could ditch his gear and just blend into a crowd if he had to.

I like your take on Steel Brigade, with that gear , he looks like a Ghost Recon Wildlands character, with the helmet off.

Thanks, since the Oktober Guard appeared in the comics but did not come out in toy form I have always been a fan of them and wanted my own Oktober Guard army.

That was an awesome idea to make her helmet hair! Haha, turned out looking really cool and is a fun feature to have on a custom. I’ve been trying to work that bald head into a custom for a while now and only just finally figured out someone I’d like to use it for. Gonna be a complicated build though so that head will likely be in my bin a while longer.
Love the Steel Brigade too! Reminds me of the 2000’s version where it was a team of three named SB Troopers. That build, the accessories and the coloring works perfectly for him. Gives you a nice alternative to having a regular Hasbro one. I won't lie, the use of parts for the SB was literally because that is what I had, but as soon as I put them together I thought of that pack with Rook and Checkpoint (and Red Zone although he had a different look). Hands up, I did just have to look up those names! Thanks, for me the helmet and colours are the only memorable part of the original figure, so I just started the custom around that. Happy to hear you think it came out so well. Quote:
The SB were initially envisaged as a way of making kids their own GI Joe member, so it perhaps makes sense that civilians can just throw on the vest and helmet and are ready to go. Quote:
Thanks (although I don't really know about Ghost Recon Wildlands). I initially used the head because the vintage helmet was too big for most Marauder heads and the glasses give it a bit more friction inside, but I do like how it makes him look with the helmet off. Thanks, calling it helmet hair did make me think it might have been easier to have started with a helmet and tried to make it look like hair! But I am glad I went with the full sculpt as I am now thinking of new projects I can use the same skills on. Be good to see what you do with the head, I bought them when they came out but struggled with a figure to use them on. Now I have Irina and Dela Eden they have finally found a use.

Hands up, I did just have to look up those names! I always think about making that SB three pack so this is a great formula for anyone who wants them. Always nice when you can just grab whatever parts you have sitting around and they lead to a kickass custom.

Finally got some MTF parts (as they are not shipping direct to the UK) so was able to finish up some customs and start some new ones.
He is not a character I remember from childhood but I had the decal and I got the cast hat as a freebie so I have had Backblast on my to do list for a while. It has been so long that the decal has suffered a bit of damage in my fodder box, but I don't mind, it gives it that distressed T-Shirt look. |

I had this parachute harness in my fodder box so decided to build a Cobra Paratrooper around it. I initially started off using the blue German body with a German helmet and googles (which I have to say I quite liked the look of as it was quite striking) but it did look a little old fashioned compared to the rest of the Cobra troops so I decided to go with the Trooper body and more modern helmet.

Marauder have shown off their Motor Viper on Facebook which had some interesting ideas but the colours were not right for me (which is strange as I think one of the things that I dislike most about the original Motor Viper is the light blue used). I have taken their ideas and tried to make it more vintage accurate (in my opinion)
