Thanks! I think from that picture and already having the good Hasbro black outfit one to go with my main Cobras, she’s gonna be teamed with that Commander and my 90’s Cobras.
————— Next up for my easy build return, one that I didn’t even know about until this past week. Grabbed a few of the Retro Collection figures for cheap custom fodder, had plans for the Baroness and Storm Shadow......but I was completely stumped with the Snake Eyes. Wasn’t the ideal build to get Ninja Force or Goggles versions that I still need to do and I have sooooo many black, gray or darker color Snake Eyes so I just really had no idea what to do. Maybe green pants version or turn it into someone else but just kept thinking until I came across this random Funskool sky blue and silver version. Now that’s a paint job I can get behind! That’s my guy! So now, armed with a vision of Snake Eyes in bright colors, I immediately got excited for the custom. So super easy build here. Just the Retro Collection Snake Eyes, the webgear from the Retro Scarlett and some Lake blue, navy, silver and gold paints. Because the Knight head Snake Eyes was the one I had the least attachment to growing up, I decided to stick with that head to maybe make me appreciate it more. I liked it, but just preferred his other head options before because those were the figures I had growing up. Just wow! I LOVE this head in the bright colors with the silver visor. Haha, so job well done with that idea. Plus, much like Baroness, the brighter paint job just makes all of the great detailing of the sculpt pop so much. Funskool Snake Eyes With my Funskool group (which im loving more and more): Also sort of liking him as a Sky Patrol Snake Eyes so here he is with that group: Edit: Adding the side by side: And dropping into the action:

Love the Snake Eyes! You know you always need to post a side by side of the original figure for me though..if not I have to Google the vintage lol. You nailed it man. The colors and everything look really good. I had never seen that version of Snake before.

Haha, if I have to google him, so do you! if I owned this Snake Eyes for the side by side pic I would have done this custom ages ago! Don’t know how I never knew about this one. I can do this, forgot to post my side by side with the v2.

Yeah, originally was planning on him going with the Funskool figures but his colors really look cool with the Sky Patrol stuff too! Decisions!
Lmao! Thanks! I was worried about the paint job at first, then the second coat of blue started drying and I was loving it! So happy I tackled this goofy version of Snake Eyes. Haha.

Up next is one I always planned on making, just wasn’t sure where the head would come from or if I’d have to sculpt some hair. Then my brother suggested using the unmasked Boss Fight Zorro head on a suit to make Hector Ramirez and I was sold!
So quick and easy one today. Grabbed the blue Marauder suit I had no ideas for from my bin, the extra Zorro head from the Boss Fight package that just arrive and we were a go for a simple kitbash Hector Ramirez! My “creative” contribution was to use his Boss Fight head peg as his microphone. Haha. Easy day for me. Hector Ramirez Causing trouble:
