Thanks! That Eel was equally parts fun and frustrating to make! Haha. Love how he came out though and the process taught me a lot so really glad I decided to really bite the bullet and go for it! Hahaha, makes me laugh now that I’m seeing more and more 90’s & Battlecorps customs popping up on here! Seemed like there were barely any on here a couple of years ago and now we have quite a few people who drop customs from that era regularly. Love that we were all able to bring some appreciation for that era. Can’t wait for that first neon 90’s KR Custom! You know you want to do it! Haha, that’s why I love it too! The whole thing makes it look like Zartan fell in a vat of chemicals like the Joker. And I agree on Jill, she has always come across as someone who’d make the Joe team!

Cool stuff. Nice to see you stretch your legs again on some characters outside the Joe verse.

You know...the MOST “neon” figure I can think of is the Cyber-Viper. (Evil chuckle)

I was gonna say something a bit more “quiet” when it comes to the neon years like Bullet-Proof v2 or Crimson Guard Immortal. You seem to like to have one version of a character so I figure they are ones you probably don’t already have but still pretty military looking outside of the neon yellow so they’d go well with the Marauder Joes you’ve done in the past. They are both figures I’m gonna do at some point. Haha, but I’m up for whoever you’d like adding to your collection, you always make even the lesser designed characters look incredible so I’d just be excited to see what you’d do with a 90’s design, even if it wasn’t one of the neon guys. ——- And just another shot of Jill that I wanted to take with some other Joes:

While looking at Funskool figures recently I saw the red and blue Stalker. Always thought it was a fun look but wasn’t sure I’d ever make him. Then I kept coming across the junker 25th Stalker in my bin and thought, it would be fun to paint a 25th figure as a change up. Not sure I’ve done a full paint job on one before so I started on it.
Just a full uniform paint job on a 25th Stalker here, Fire red for the uniform and lake blue for the accent colors. I added a few more accents that the original figure didn’t have just because I thought it would break up the red a bit. Then a simple red grenade on his webgear. I left the skin color because I wanted this to feel like Stalker. Figure down the road I’ll make a toy accurate version down the road as a completely separate character. Always funny when you grab a 25th to customize or just to take pictures with and pose. I know they get a bad wrap a bit now but they do really have a lot of personality to them. Still love them after all these years. Funskool Stalker With his mold brother: With my other Stalker’s: Then with the expanding Funskool group: And taking down some Cobras:

Hahaha, wow, Rob just goes right for the throat! I was gonna say something a bit more “quiet” when it comes to the neon years like Bullet-Proof v2 or Crimson Guard Immortal. Cyber Viper, oomph that’s a doozy. I’ll take a shot at him. I have the green for it just need a yellow that is neon. I have some ideas but I think the build might be the most difficult part. I went to look for one on eBay for a purchase and physical reference, holy shit that figure goes for a lot of money. Was this guy really rare at the time? @H&R - Jill looks great in the group shot and I can’t help but think who is the first one that gets taken out by zombies haha. Funskool Stalker came out really well too. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that figure before. Cool stuff man.

Haha, thanks! Love the colors on him!
I wasn’t into the Funskool stuff when I originally saw it but then that Club Windmill sort of made me take notice. Then they did Hawk in those colors too and that’s when it really took off for me. Love that group shot of them all so I’m not close to done with Funskool yet now. Haha. Now I’m hooked! Quote:

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that figure before. Cool stuff man. Cyber Viper wasn’t rare at the time.......because I was the only kid who bought him. Haha. There were plenty on the pegs. But now him and Mega Viper are super pricy! Like the final year of Ninja Turtle releases where all the kids stopped getting them so they all ended up in a warehouse somewhere until people started trying to finish their collections as adults. Thanks! Haha, oh, the answer is Sure-Fire! He’s gets bit first! He’s the guy who gets killed in the opening cut scene before you even take control of your character! I’m surprised I didn’t have a rogue zombie just take him out in the group photo. I never saw the Stalker in person but knew about him from checking out the foreign figures back in the day. Some really cool color repaints of the OG13 guys from Funskool. Really fun one to make, especially because I don’t customize 25th stuff often. Appreciate it!

I don't think I've ever seen a Funskool Stalker custom before. It's good to see someone doing different styles.

Buddy....I'm going to send you some muted paint colors. Some nice dark greens and blues.....LOL. I'll have to look up that Stalker figure.
I agree I really like the 25th builds. I used them on the majority of my MASK customs and still use them at times. They are true 3.75 unlike now where everything is going more 4 inch scale. Using them allows for same scale but different sizes which is true in cartoons and real life. I like the variety it gives. The 25th Stalker while having its flaws is still my go to Stalker. I think it did the best at capturing the ARAH Stalker likeness. Love the group shot of all the versions you always take.
