Ha ha! I only ask because someone asked me once if I keep recycling stuff to make new figures, & I told them no, every figure still exists & is "bought to build!" =)
Nice start on the Night Creeper female! |

The Android was such a funny idea and it totally worked with that build! Always fun when you can just piece something together for a fun pic before using the parts for other customs.
That female nightcreeper using the Rey head is brilliant! Can?t wait to see how she comes together!

MOST of my guys are still fully built. So far, I’ve only posted three or four guys that have been broken back down. The THX guy, of course, but the only other posts that I can think of that aren’t still on my shelf are Mini-Gun Destro (my very first post), My 2003 Blonde Goatee Gung-Ho, and my custom of the unproduced 1995 Battlecorps Rangers Shipwreck. Everything else is still standing. At this point, I have about 215-220 Joerauders.

Tonight I have a figure that, weirdly, has a lot of dollar store parts. If anyone doesn?t know, Dollar Tree has an action figure line, Final Faction. It’s basically futuristic military against aliens. The line is fairly large and they have some cool stuff, but it’s a bit lacking in quality. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course. I think some of the product is great for parts. The parts I have on Sci-Fi here are the helmet, the vest, and the backpack array.
Anyhoo, I just happened to get a germ of an idea one day when I was trying the pieces out to see what might work as a custom. Putting different pieces together sorta looked like Star Brigade. I noticed that the vest had almost the same shape as Sci-Fi (minus the very large shoulder pads). Now, of course this custom only very loosely looks like Sci-Fi V4, but hopefully the spirit of Sci-Fi is in there. SCI-FI (V4): 1994

I was looking forward to this one's final reveal, & you did not disappoint! Very creative use of parts with using Final Faction, & the paint/coloring evokes the original nicely! It's among my very favorites within your thread!

I?ve been wanting to do something just a bit different lately with my Joerauders. I?ve been thinking of Joes who never got the Battlecorps treatment and trying to make up some of my own. I?m working on a Battlecorps Quick Kick, but in the meantime, I have a quick kitbash I wanted to post.
I?m pretty sure Mara was never a figure, just on the Sunbow cartoon. I got the idea while scanning JoeCustoms, but instead of depicting her in her Cobra duds, I wanted to show her as a full-fledged G.I.Joe circa 1992 or 1993. BATTLECORPS MARA

I love that Sci-Fi! I just grabbed some sets of those pieces the other day figuring I’d find a use for them but didn’t realize that you used them on your Sci-Fi WIP that you posted previously. I hope one of the sets I grabbed has those parts because he looks badass! Love the build, really accurate to a totally crazy original design and then the paint job is awesome! One of my favorite figures growing up so it’s really cool seeing him done so well in a modern build.
Haha, never gonna hear me complain about new Battlecorps members. Cool idea to take a lesser known Joe character and add her in with a new design. Love how she’s geared up.

In the thumbnail, on the customs facing page, I was like, Rob doing James Cameron's "Avatar" character now? lol ;-) Very cool take on Mara, I almost made her (was like 75% there) from that all blue head I got as a freebie from Marauders, but then went in a different direction (with The Bride Of Dr. Isotope) ... The mix of colors gives her an aquatic feel, & you did a real nice job painting her head! Imaginative deep cut + original take man! =)
