Thank you all for the kind words.
Okay, tonight I only have a small tweak. Considering Airborne a success, I have turned my attention to 1984 and Wild Weasel. Oh, Wild Weasel. Over the years, I have tried three different MTF versions of the Cobra Pilot and have never been satisfied with any of them. This tweak is my fourth attempt and, while I am inching closer to a figure that I can be proud of, sadly, Wild Weasel as he stands before you today is still a work in progress. I got my Star Wars Geek custom cast head in the mail last week and it is leaps and bounds better than the one I had before. I put a vest on Wild Weasel to give him a more simplified look than the last attempt. WILD WEASEL (V1): 1984 Previous Attempt (3rd Attempt)

Thanks, guys!
I think I will quietly drop this figure here. A few months ago I had a gestating idea in my head. I was going to try to use the Winter German figure as the base for my Snow Serpent. I got the scaled down head from Star Wars Geek and more fur bracers and boot toppers from Vitruvian Armory. Separately, these items seemed like they would make a great Snow Serpent. You would think, but sometimes, reality bites. I have also since realized that MJ doesn?t have anymore Winter German figures, so I stopped short of painting this guy. I am not quite ready go past the point of no return. If I feel I need to, I can take the figure back to being the Winter German. So, a few things. 1.) I think I need to repaint the head. I think I should take the helmet to white and maybe take the faceplate back to black. I just really wanted to show off the sweet faceplate with some highlighting 2.) I have never liked the blue accents of the original figure. It just makes me think of the old Sgt. Rock figures. Not a fan. So I used mostly gray. I don?t know if that will cut it. Maybe I DO need to paint the harness blue. Oh well, I?m going to give Snow Serpent another try before I give up. SNOW SERPENT (V1): 1985
