It is a cast that I got from Star Wars Geek. It is also listed as the Gallows Helmet on the Raginspoon website. The one I have is brittle and undersized fit only for a pin-sized bald head, such as the Final Faction Sgt. Steadfast figure and even then it can’t go down over his nose. I would recommend getting it from Raginspoon if you were to get one. I’ve thought about getting another one from ‘Spoon to see if it is any better.

Phenomenal. Raptor is my favorite I think. I thought he was a pretty goofy figure but u transformed him completely. Thanks for posting your art man.

Thanks Track. God bless ya.
This next guy is sort of a surprise. I mean in that I was surprised I actually got finished with him. I work on a few guys at a time, bouncing from this figure to that figure as paint cures or new pieces come in or, God forbid, when I have five minutes to myself. This figure had been sitting on my workstation for months. He has a fair bit of painting and glueing (for me, anyway) and he just never seemed to be getting anywhere. Me and the wife were watching our BBC mystery shows last night while I was half-heartedly painting when, lo and behold, I finished him. Could have blown me over with a feather. Anyway, long story short (TOO LATE!), here is Battlecorps Snow Job. P.S.: With this being a Battlecorps figure, I didn’t feel restrained by practicality or pesky reality. Why does his sub gun have two clips? Why does he wear an ammo belt around his waist? Why does he carry a grenade on his calf? Why and how does he carry a mounted machine gun next to his ear? And why, if he is an Arctic guy, does he just wear a button-down shirt? It is Battlecorps, people! It makes no sense and it is wonderful! P.P.S.: I am not familiar with aspects of the real military, but I do my best to honor the military. My Grandfather was in WWII, my dad and uncles all served. My uncle Dale saw action in ?Nam (he was a door gunner). My brother-in-law flew in the Army. I mention this because I get actually stressed out when it comes to putting inappropriate or incorrect rank insignia or division patch stickers on my guys. I have a couple of those stickers from Marauders and Toyhax, but i don?t stick them on for fear of getting it wrong. I take military honor very seriously. Now, I did go against my nature and put a 3rd Infantry sticker on this figure as I felt he needed SOMETHING on his sleeves and the Rock of Marne sticker was about the only one I had that was not an Airborne sticker. I read Snow Job?s filecard and, unfortunately, it is a bit sparse. I read up on the 3rd Infantry just a tiny bit and I don’t believe Snow Job would specifically be excluded from being in the 3rd Infantry. If I have labeled this guy incorrectly, please let me know and I will take it off. I would much rather have a bland custom than to inadvertently besmirch the storied history of that division. I mean that sincerely. Anyhoo, enough ado. Here is Battlecorps Snow Job SNOW JOB (BATTLECORPS)

You've kept busy, I see! Really liking several of your new figures, especially Raptor, Leatherneck, SAW-Viper and your latest, Snow-Job! You've knocked these guys out of the park!

What the hell is going on in this thread? Every time I think someone is just commenting it's not... it's because Rob has dropped like 3 more new figures lol!
Kudos on the Raptor, that is really a great take, very cool & creative! I did Crusher a while back and he was a hit with the SB local enthusiasts, so it's great to see someone else's take on this underrated Dreadnok! I like this version of Cesspool too, it's always good for us to look beyond what is already established and show thread readers how else characters can be re-imagined for our own in-universe. But I won't be calling him "Cessie" to his face. lol I see you used another one of the MGR 2020 heads that you painted yourself for Snow Job, what's keeping the belt on, an ammo belt mount? Glue? I really like this take, not only does it read as SJ, but I think you definitely got the Battle Corps vibe down! |

Thanks, SB! All I asked for Christmas this year was Marauders money and one day off to go to JoeFest. That homemade JoeFest coupon is burning a hole in my pocket. I had been itching to use that 2020 head, but I didn’t want to do another Clutch or Rock N Roll. And, of course, I am still heavy into my Battlecorps kick, so Snow Job got the call. As for the ammo belt, I just cut it to size and super-glued it. He also has a jet snowboard that I am trying to mod the pegs on. As soon as I can get those pegs down to a workable size, I will post another pic.
