My favorite customs that I like to do are the ones where the parts are so readily available that no painting and very little mix-matching parts are needed and it still comes out great and you hit the nailed on the head with making the character you set out to make. Well done Matt!

Thanks for all of the compliments, folks! Like a few people said, it's nice to be able to throw together a desired looking custom without having to do a bunch of work. I'm really just sharing these to show off some simple builds that might inspire some of my fellow 'Tankers.

That 25th figure is super dated, but I'm not sure if I'll be getting to a Quarrel custom any time soon. I'm kind of thinking Wheels for the next Z Force member, but we'll see. |

Updates on my ongoing battle with Steeler's helmet:
So I think I'm settling on the MTF night vision goggles for now. I was originally just using a regular O13 visor, but that just didn't feel "Steelery" enough for me. Next, I managed to dig up Low-Light v3's helmet, thinking that would do the trick. It did fit, but was just too big for my liking. I also tried the quad NVG from Marauder, but those looked like a little much to me as well, especially when not over the eyes. So here we are, for now just using the regular old MTF NVG. It's ok I guess, but hopefully I'll be able to find something I'm a bit more pleased with. Maybe a caster will have a Steeler visor for sale at some point, but for now, here's where I'm at. I'm also not 100% in on the head, but it'll do for now. Last edited by Matt82; 01-30-2022 at 07:31 PM.. |

With Steeler a bit more updated, here's a quick little shot of him with Clutch and Breaker. I mentioned in another thread how these guys are like a trio to me in my Joeverse, so it's cool to have them all together all MTFed out.
Small update on Breaker; I swapped in a Retro Stalker harness on him, and I'm pretty pleased with it. |
