*I like adding the MGR Geared-Up Figures to my MTF Universe where I see fit & thought this new "Blue Trooper" was another great bash offered! He was also a lot of fun to put together. ;-)

GUNRUNNERS ARMORED SECURITY TROOPERS have been placed at the fortress lab on Grendel Island, as the lead defensive force under the command of the GUNRUNNERS SECURITY OFFICERS. An evolution of the original Armored Security Troopers, These heavily armored guards are some of the most powerful yet, with rigorous strength training so their combat techniques are near flawless despite the amount of gear they are carrying. The first wave of MTF opposition under VINDICATOR will have a tough time trying to get through these stationed troopers guarding the Fortress parameter as they are ready for any "Marauder (Task Force) Mayhem!"

*I liked this great build the most of the 2020 "Geared-Up" figures when revealed by MGR for the convention circuit, & despite having built 2 versions of Daina already in my MTF Universe, I really wanted to add her to my collection, & was glad she was offered on the site!

After the Armageddon Wars MISERY found herself to be a lost soul. A warrior with no home, separated from her comrades & unsure of their whereabouts, she became a soldier for hire, and has frequently worked for WRATH, (but has also taken jobs for the opposition and rogue military parties as a crack-shot sniper!) Looking for her former Team in her travels, she has come up empty handed in her search... with only rumors and scattered information to be found.

#193/X15. MIDNIGHT TROOPER(S) (Midnight Trooper Geared-Up Figure based on Keegan from Call of Duty: Ghosts )

*I thought I was going to pass on this figure when he was offered by MGR, but as I looked at him & a background story started forming in my head, so I pulled the trigger lol.

MIDNIGHT TROOPERS are the main recon & security team under one of "THE 4 CYBORG KINGS" SKULL HAWK, and get their name from there frequent midnight raids in his zone. Bearing his "Skull" logo on their face, they are nearly unbeatable and track-able at night with their heavy stealth & blackened equipment. They have been known to take victims and prisoners swiftly. Your only warning is an eerie midnight chime that they admit when the clock strikes twelve from their all terrain vehicles. Known also for being SKULL HAWK'S body guards the MIDNIGHT TROOPERS have earned a reputation for death & violence.

*Did a slight reconfigure (for a better load-out fit) and some add-ons/swap outs to this one... I may replace the head when we get the new MGR heads with the beard, but I'm glad that MGR is including scarfs to cover the mismatching skin tones in the meantime.

SALTY DOG grew up in the shadow of the Navy under his Spanish family, specifically the shadow of the sprawling San Diego Navy Yards. He enlisted at the youngest possible age with his parents' permission and proceeded to serve with distinction in the Mekong Delta where hand to hand fighting with river pirates, smugglers and insurgents was the order of the day. Put in time at "Gitmo" and Yokosuka and was on hand at certain carrier-initiated operations in the Middle East. Served with the Marauder Task Force's prior team then became a "boat for hire"... doing transports of who-knows-what from places unknown to the US. Was called back to duty a couple years ago and has mainly been working with CRUISER on shoreline defense (who recently lost a bet to SALTY DOG on the Grendel Island mission which prompted him to shave off his signature mustache!) SALTY DOG is a not your favorite guy to be around, he's obnoxious, you can hear his voice anywhere on the ship and he likes hogging the "action spotlight," with that said, he has more wild stories about boats, exotic animals, girls, & any combination of those 3 things than you'll ever want to hear!

#195 SCORPIO (based on GI Joe ARAH Brazilian exclusive '91 figure "Escorpiao Voador/Flying Scorpion")

I've had Flying Scorpion planned since last year, but only decided on a final build for him recently. I considered a variety of parts for his top like the Command-Ops & silver rig harness, but wanted to get more inventive and close to the "look" of the original. A way to use the parts bin combined with newer MGR offerings, I finally came up with this build that I'm happy with, I think the jet pack, placing the German belt in the middle of his chest and wrapping his facial injury really pulls him all together!

The environmental/wildlife extremist SCORPIO was once a man of just cause that turned to the Gunrunners as they listened to his radical ideas that would benefit a world to be dominated. He has gone slowly insane over the years & believes humanity should be mostly purged to save the Earth. His latest ideas brought him to Grendel Island, where new experimental weaponized beasts are being made, as he believes mankind should be sorted by the next great species rather than man himself. Desperate for solutions to their flailing legions, the Gunrunners Elite have gone mostly in hiding & let SCORPIO'S ideas be entertained, as one of the final men with power within their legions. He & his lover MISTRESS EVE are now the heads of Grendel Island, a place un-mapped & under control of the Gunrunners conducting unholy experiments. In the final attack by the MTF's AIR DEVILS, SCORPIO'S face was hit with the beasts experimental serum in a gun fight, burning him, (then bandaged by MISTRESS EVE amongst the chaos)... As he heads for the escape route from the labs sky vault, he is confronted by SKYLINE, a fierce fight ensues, & SCORPIO steals SKYLINE'S "Sky Sweeper" jet pack to make a solo escape!

Another fun batch to add to the army. I think that Diana may be one of MGR’s best releases and that’s a cool Flying Scorpion. I remember him from a convention set a few years ago and thought it was an interesting concept.
