Here is my little Battle Force Customs project ...
From left to right Avalanche (Antar), Blaster (Atomizer), Blocker (Volanter), Dodger (Kaptor), Dee Jay (N/R), Knockdown (Detector) and Maverick (Meteor) The names under parenthesis are the Brazilian release code names. Here the Battle Force (Força 2000) had the Iron Grenadiers (Força Destro) as enemies, both groups represented subdivisions for Gi-Joe and Cobra using the most advanced technology. I like to think Super Trooper as the leader for my Battle Force Avalanche (Antar), this was the 5th figure made in this project... I resisted a bit using the parts I chose because they're mostrly from 25th figures and they tend to be a bit small ... but the padded look of the upper torso sold it for me. Blaster (Atomizer) was the 4th. I do enjoy how the shades of green turned out on this one. Blocker (Volanter) was the 3rd. I went with a black torso, to make it look he is wearing some kind of jacket. His filecard says he was taxi driver, and I don't know why that led me to apply a 5 o-clock beard in his face ... First time I mixed Star Wars lower legs with double knee Gi-Joe joints. Last edited by Letal; 10-18-2013 at 07:20 PM.. |

Dodger (Kaptor) the 2nd. I've always dreaded making a custom Dodger because of his camo pattern, it's so unique and cool that I think changing it (as I did with others) would not produce the result I wanted.
Dee Jay was the last one. I confess I struggled with the idea of using so much white for a non arctic themed figut[re, specially white boots. In the end this one is sure one of my favorite of the bunch ... Knockdown (Detektor) was the 6th. This guy was a little bit of a hell to match parts with the vest I chose, but the vest was too important. So even if he is not as sleeky as the others I still like the result. Maverick (Meteor) was the 1st. And he being nominated to compete as best of the month was a great incentive to go forward with the others |

Great use of parts. Really like how some figures incorporate 25th, 30th, ROC, POC...Star wars...everything. Awesome job.

THESE are outstanding and PROOF that Hasbro COULD do them with just a simple mish mash of parts and minimal new tooling. Letal you continue to impress and amaze good sir.
