very nice collection.. it looks you need a middle rack for that shelving system man. i see two lower shelves bowing. a third middle support will stop that an keep you collection from collapsing one day..

Looks great man. Where'd you get the risers?
Here's an updated pic of my current army, since I started re-re-re-rebuilding it (yeah, I'm that fickle)... I'm sticking to only three!!! (OK, maybe five, we'll see how bad the bug bites, and how finances treat me...) ![]() ![]() Also, an oldie, but a goodie from way back when the 25th was just getting started... ![]()

I especially like the Flint pic, Derek2783. =)
And I got the risers at my local Wal-Mart. I like 'em a lot and they're only $5 and some change each. Here's a picture of Breaker with Episode III Obi-Wan Kenobi's head. Most of the ball joint on the figure's neck has to be sliced away so that the Obi-Wan head doesn't sit too high, but I think it's a great fix. Especially after I paint the beard black. =D |

You still have all of those blueshirts? You want to trade or sell any of them?

Here's another tip that might help you the next time you decide to put up shelves. Measure the length of the shelf. Then divide that number in half. Then divide that number in half again. When you have that final number you will use it to place the supports in that distance from each end. Lets say the shelf is 4 feet long (48 inches). Half of that is 24 and half of that is 12. If you place the supports 12 inches in from each end then you will be left with 24 unsupported inches in the middle. If that doesn't work for you I guess you could always go a third of the way in from each end of the shelf for even more support. Like if you had a 3 foot shelf you could put a support in at 1 foot from each end. This method is better than the way you have your supports set up now because each support is almost at each end of the shelf. If that shelf was 48 inches long you would have about 46 to 48 inches that was left unsupported. A third support in the middle would be great for the way you have it set up now, but it is not needed if you just move the 2 supports you have now in more from the edge. I'm not a professional carpenter or anything like that, but this is the way I put up my shelves and so far so good without any bends in the middle. It saves money too using 2 supports instead of 3.
