oh wow haha
i was actually looking at the p-93 when shopping for my wife's cam. got her a nice canon d-500 that's a 5.1mp, but i try not to use it too much. dunno why. i just have in mind its "hers" and my cam works okay for my needs. i really would like a new cam though. i see 7mp cams for under $200... wonder if those are worth it? i dont need bells and whistles. just as long as it takes big, clear pics. but yeah, very crsip, clear pic you got there. and your macro mode seems to work a TON better than mine. if i get too close, blur city. plus mine takes a while to write the pic to memory. so its like a slow shutter. if i flinch even slightly, blur city again.

it is worth it because i paid about $249.99 for that one back in late '04, probably October....so 7 MP for under $200.00??
that's a deal. it's like computers....every six months software and hardware just "progress". i remeber when having an 80 gig HD was big....now you got 750 MB, for less money. but i'm glad you like the pic. i want to get into doing those action shots that these guys here do so well. i just need some dio's, or maybe some crafting landscapes to pull them off. later dude! |

here's a little tip for you Outback:
if you guys are gonna take pictures really up close, try resetting your camera to take close up images. otherwise, you'll end up with an out of focus image, like blurred or foggy type. you can check your cameras by setting it on the menu, if you see a flower icon, then that's all set. and because digital cameras tend to be small and light, any jesture to click on the shutter will make your camera jerk a little bit and causing it to take blurry images. i suggest use a small tripod or try resting the camera on top of a stack of books or anything that will place it upright and less movement.

you can also change the ISO setting on your camera (It's like changing the shutter speed on old school cameras) it'll make it easier to take pictures with less light and take some of the blurr away
Also, change your exposure if you're having a problem with the flash washing everything out www.cheapshooter.com has articles about this and much more I'm working with a crappy K-mart bluelight special (Actually bought at k-mart ![]() |

yeah my camera doesnt have any settings for ISO or exposure. but i think it has white balance? i changed that to -1.5 and that helped, along with moving the light.
much better, no? ![]() you can actually see the flat black paint i applied to his grenades and buckles. yay! thanks for the tips!

yeah driftbot, that actually looks better. might wanna try using different lighting, that's what I did. not too bright and not too light, the good lighting scheme will look like more "real" instead of toyish or plastic look.

Folks the best lighting is always natural lighting. I almost always go outside now to take pics for reviews. I also rarely use any flash.
