Awesome! Does anyone know the deal with Sideshow heads? Do the older heads work with the new figures. The Joes and new SW figures have no necks, but the older heads do. I was just wondering if the post holes were the same? If perhaps I might be able to trim the neck off the old school heads to use on the Joe bodies? When I get my Cobra Trooper, and later Sniper, I'd like to give them real heads, instead of the sculpted masked ones.

The newer heads are on ball joints; they have a socket for the ball. I don't know if you could trim the neck off an older head and get it to fit without some work. I'd be interested to see if it would work though.

If I can find one for a decent price on ebay, I'll give it a try. If it works out I'll let ya know. I'm going to be ordering my Trooper tomorrow, heck i may just order the Sniper at the same time. lol

Henderson played on nine teams, but he's sure to be inducted as an Oakland Athletic, like Eckersley, and depicted wearing an A's cap on his plaque. The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

I have no problem with the Sideshow bodies, I can't see paying almost a hundred bucks for a high end figure, just for the clothes. I'd just like alternate heads that aren't permantently masked. The figures come with the pull up cloth mask anyhow. It just seems impossible to find the no neck Sideshow heads that aren't Joe, or SW. Also, I can't seem to find a neck join that works for a Sideshow body and another companies head, and customizers don't seem to pre-cut for Sideshow like they do for
Hot Toys.

Why not just use a hot toys or BBi head ? With BBI you would need to buy the neck wirh head. Here are pictures with hot toys and BBi head (order head) on a Sideshow body.
I think I'm not getting this. You want a plain head for you SS body? edit

Ahhhh, Okay I wasn't understanding you. So you're saying that BBi head/neck combos fit into Sideshow bodies? That would be easier. I was under the impression that most neck posts weren't interchangeable. That's why they made the neck joins, and things like that.
