Custom Classes:
Players that reach Level 7 earn the ability to create their own custom class. At levels 8, 9 and 10, players can expand and upgrade their custom class. Please take a moment to look at all of your options before you make your selections. If you are not sure about anything, I will gladly answer any questions you have!
Creating your class.
Step 1.
Choose the name of your class, it can be a codename of an original character you created, as in "Lowlight", or it can be a type of trooper that you created, as in "Alley Viper". Your custom class name should be appropriate to the theme of the game.
Step 2.
Choose options from the menu below. By selecting from these options you can customize your class however you like.
There are a total of 18 options to choose from, and some of these options can be selected more than once because they can applied to different Skills you posses.
*At Level 7 you will choose 4 options. This will start you off with enough choices to define your class and have it be balanced.
*At Level 8 and Level 9 you will get to choose 2 options each time. This will allow you to expand and further define your Class.
*At Level 10 you will get 3 options. These final options will allow you to round out your class.
*At Levels 11 and 12, you get the +1 bonus to your skills, however you do not get any additional options. Instead you may change previous options that you have made. You may change 2 options each time.
Options Menu:
Skills:
*You can select up to two skills that will be your “Primary skills” or just one Primary Skill, it’s your choice.
1. Hurt:
This skill allows you to do damage to an enemy target.
_____
2. Heal:
This skill allows you to heal to your teams targets.
_____
3. Shield:
This skill allows you to post Shield points that protect targets.
_____
4. Move & Action:
These Skills allow you to post move and action points towards an objective. You get both Skills as a set with this option.
_____
5. Block:
This skill allows you to post Block points that make the enemies objectives harder.
_____
6. Add +2 to a basic skill:
*Do not choose this option unless you have already chosen two class skills and you want to beef up another skill. You can only choose up to 2 Primary class skills, however you can also upgrade any of your other skills. Any skill that is not a chosen Primary skill is a basic skill and normally only 2 points. With this option you can boost a basic skill to 4 points.
*Can be selected 3 times for 3 different basic skills.
__________
Weapon upgrades:
*You can select as many weapon upgrades as you like, but you may only use one per day.
*When using a weapons upgrade you cannot split your post. All of your Hurt or Move etc, must be posted on a single Target or Objective.
*This rule does not apply to the “Explosives” and “Animal Companion” upgrades.
7. Stealth Mode:
Hurt ignores shields and goes past them. Shields remain intact, but your hit goes through to the target.
*Stealth upgrade does not apply to "Take cover" or "Peneplastic barrier".
*When using this upgrade your post must include the words “Stealth”:
Cobra Player
Hurt Duke -8
Stealth
______
8. Damage upgrade:
4 points of damage to the target becomes permanent damage. Targets max HP is reduced by 4 points.
*When using this upgrade your post must include the words “Damage upgrade”:
G.I. Joe Player
Hurt Destro -8
Damage upgrade
______
9. Explosives:
This upgrade spreads your hurt damage over all available targets. You get a +2 bonus, so Hurt -8 would become -10, evenly spread over all Targets. Damage maxes out at 3 points per target.
Do not specify a target when you use this upgrade.
*When using this upgrade your post must include the words “Explosives”:
Cobra Player
Hurt Duke -8
Explosives
______
10. Velocity upgrade:
When using this upgrade your Hurt gets +2 damage against any shield points that are up.
+2 bonus does NOT apply to Take cover or Peneplastic barrier.
*When using this upgrade your post must include the words “Velocity”:
G.I. Joe Player
Hurt Destro -8
Velocity
______
11. Covert mode:
When using this upgrade your Move/Action gets +2 damage against any Block points that are up.
*When using this upgrade your post must include the words “Covert mode”:
Cobra Player
Move +4
Covert mode
______
12. Animal/Robot companion:
This upgrade provides you with an Animal companion or robot/drone. This Companion has 6 points it can use during the game for any kind of post, Hurt/Heal/Move/Action/Shield/Block. You can use all 6 points in one day or spread them out over the course of the game. These points do not affect your normal daily post.
*you must make your normal daily post first.
*you must wait 1 hour to post the Animal/drone companion.
*The animal/drone post should name your animal/drone and look like this:
G.I. Joe player
Freedom Move +2, etc..
__________
Splitting Options:
*Splitting means dividing your post among two targets and/objectives.
For example instead of posting Hurt -8 you can post Hurt -4/ Hurt -4, hitting two or more targets at the same time.
*You can only split the Primary skills you have chosen.
*Move and Action are interchangeable. Splitting Move +4/ Action +4 is considered one Skill.
13. Even split, one Primary Skill:
Whichever Primary Skill you have chosen, you may split it evenly among two targets.
Hurt -4/ Hurt -4.
Heal +/Heal +4, etc.
(Level 7 will be 4/3.
Level 8 will be 4/4.
Level 9 will be 5/4.
Level 10 will be 5/5.)
*You can choose this option up to 2 times if you have 2 Primary Skills.
_____
14. Even split two different Primary skills:
If you have 2 Primary skills, this option allows you to Split your post evenly between the 2 different Skills.
Hurt -4/ Heal +4
Shield +4, Move/Action +4, etc.
_____
15. Odd split, one Primary skill:
This option will allow you to split one skill in any odd combination: 1/7, 2/6, 3/5.
Hurt -6/ Hurt -2
Heal +5/ Heal +3, etc.
*You can select this option up to 2 times if you have more than one primary skill.
_____
16. Odd split, two different Primary skills:
This option will allow you to split two different Primary skills in any odd combination: 1/7, 2/6, 3/5. You must have two primary skills for this option.
Hurt -6/ Heal +2
Shield +5/ Hurt -3, etc.
_____
17. Multi target split, One Primary skill:
Split one skill any way up to 3 or 4 targets. This option only applies to either Hurt or Heal, you must choose.
You may split your post any way you want among 3 or 4 targets, no less than 3 targets and no more than 4 targets.
For example a level 10 player can post;
Cobra player
Hurt Duke -4
Hurt Snake Eyes -3
Hurt Stalker -2
Hurt Breaker -1
*Multi split cannot be more than one skill. This option can only be chosen once.
_____
18. Multi target split, two different Primary skills:
This option allows you to split both of your Primary skills any way you want among 3 or 4 targets, no less than 3 targets and no more than 4 targets.
For example a level 10 player can post;
G.I. Joe player
Shield +4
Hurt Destro -3
Hurt Zartan -2
Hurt Firefly -1
*One of your Primary skills must be Hurt or Heal.
