A man, his sword, his assault rifle, his combat knife, and his dog. Time to go hunting right? Hunting for Cobra and M.A.R.S. operatives that is! Arguably the most popular movie Snake Eyes figure so far, this Paris Pursuit version was anticipated for a long time for it’s unique look and newly tooled parts.
This is also the first movie Snake Eyes figure to feature a mouthless head sculpt, something that appeals to most fans. While we may see Snake Eyes decked up like this for just a brief moment in the movie, he can adorn your shelves FOREVER with this figure! So how did it turn out? Snake Eyes is dressed in an open trench coat with his signature bandolier wrapped around it this time around. This figure uses flat dark grays and blacks along with glossy black colors to add contrast to the monochromatic tone and bring out the details of this sculpt. The head is new with no mouth sculpted on and the visor is different too this time being a solid gloss black. The torso has a lower torso joint than usual and the elbows bend slightly more than 90 degrees, this helps in allowing Snake Eyes to hold his rifle better. The sword sheath is removable, unlike previous sheathes, the sword easily slides in and out. The Sword is the same one that comes with the "Ninja Commando" version of Snake Eyes from Wave 1. Rather than getting a missile launcher, this Snake Eyes comes with Timber. Timber is the same mold we first saw in the last Modern Era GI Joe 5 pack, but this time he’s black and brown. Also making a comeback is the knife Snake Eyes comes with, it’s the same one the first 25th Snake Eyes figure came with. The pistol is the same one that comes with a lot of the Joes in this movie line. Snake Eyes comes with a removable Coat, Sword, Sword Sheath, Rifle, Pistol, Knife, Timber and a GI Joe Stand.
This is a nice version of Snake Eyes we haven’t seen before that I’m sure would look great with many dios including a WWII Transformers crossover. There are a few slight drawbacks though with the new visor being pretty plain compared to the regular Snake Eyes’ visor and the bulkiness of where the hood meets the coat makes the whole figure look slightly off. Also, the sword slides out if the sheath far too easily. These problems can be overlooked though, as the rest of the figure is very nice.

i like the figure and the new head is great(no mouth on it).I bought a couple for kit-bashs and used a p.p. snake-eyes head on the first roc snake-eyes(imo i think it looks better then then one with the mouth).love the repainted timber too and glad to not see another spring loaded launcher.give it a 9 out of 10.

I have to be honest. Other than the trench, I'm not really digging this figure.
