LOL, not really. There's the physical and the ideological aspect. I prefer to hold books, comics, magazines, etc., in my hands, smell the newsprint, turn the pages, you know? To me, that's part and parcel with the experience. Then there's the ideological aspect where I prefer to own the actual, physical thing I pay for, and not the "idea" of owning it. I feel this way about music, movies, books/comics, toys/collectibles, etc. If MP3s, digital movies/comics, or toy NFTs are someone's jam, go for it (though I'll never understand buying NFT toys). That's just not me.

Same. "Digital" comics aren't real. They're also free all over the internet.
The difference between a digital comic book and a real book is the same as having an action figure in your hands or just looking at a picture of one on a screen. |

Digital is great for consume-once-and-done comics, or books with mediocre art. My physical comic collection is tiny right now. I'd like to have the pieces of the Hama marvel run that I'm missing at some point, but I'm fine with digital for most comics because I'd rather have the space they take up for other print media.

I don't own the entire Marvel run in print. I have a collection of floppies, but I don't want to read them anymore cause they're valuable now.
Even my Marvel paperback from 2001 is worth money. But man, it's so much nicer on that newer paper with clearer colors. Newsprint is shit. |

And reading a comic/book whatever from my tablet just seems weird to me .. glad other people enjoy them but not this guy . If its newsprint im out i would rather pay for the option for 30 weight paper than news paper i dont miss the problems it cause eventually ..
