Delicateangel01 has posted an auction on Ebay for a Cobra Mantis Sub with Aqua Viper Officer in a alpha class box for the upcoming 2010 V.A.M.P. from the Pursuit of Cobra line. V.AM.P. you ask? Remember that new ground vehicle that looked like a VAMP which was revealed last month?
So your probably wondering why on earth is a Cobra vehicle of all things, in a G.I. Joe package? That’s because this is a pre-production sample! Changes might be made before final production, but in any case this packaging confirms 3 things:

What the hell is that?
The figure is the Aqua-Viper Officer from RoC Alpha Wave 2, 2009.
The vehicle is the Mantis Sub he comes with, or is it the VvV one that the RoC Mantis was modeled from?
But the box... the box isn't real.
edit (after reading Chief's observations): the box is pre-production, weird.

Hasbro has renamed vehicles several times before, so it would not be withstanding that they did it again.
The packaging is the new POC style.. and despite the name.. companies sometime mock up boxes using an entirely different toy sometimes, just cause they would like to see what "A" toy in the new package will look like. thus why the pre-production sticker. So this would be my guess.
