IDW has been increasingly beyond what I thought was possible for GIJoe comics. Or Comics in general. The stories has been off this world awesome. The art for the most part has been just that art. Beautifully put together to enhance the readers experience and get involved and rooting for characters new and old. Krake as CC was a sure thing but I have a feeling its going to take a sharp turn (first clues r showing now). I just have to say I enjoy seeing them put in so many different vehicles also. In arah. They had five different hiss tanks in one column. Come on how awesome is that. Hope this goes on for as long as it can.

The quality of stories has been increasing, Cobra of course, was so much better than the other titles, but SE and GIjoe have vastly improved in the last year.

Everyone has their own opinion on this, but if that piece of puss called serpentor makes another play at usurping command, it will have the same effect on me that it had back in the day.
I'll give up on the story again.
The new Commander deserves a decent run. I hope his cobra flunkies don't ruin it for him.

I totally agree.
Long live THIS Cobra Commander and have Serpentor killed, he's useless and his cult is just ridiculous.
Cobra needs a military leader and we want and enjoy full scale conflicts.
There would be more interesting things to explore than already focusing on the moves against the new CC's command. I'd like to know more about the Cobra Council and it's members, origins, etc for example.

I don't know. I like the change in rolls between The Commander and Serpentor. CC used to be a petty snide dictator with no real physical might to back his position. Serpentor was the "perfect" commander. Now, we have Krake. A man who is not only a brilliant strategist, but a man who isn't affraid to get his own hands dirty. On the flipside, Serpentor is the cunning divisive figure, and I LOVE the use of the "self-help" cult. It's such great social commentary on our society and the way it constantly gloms onto the "next big thing". Good stuff, imo.

I liked the return at the end. I had honestly forgotten about her.
