Storm.Shadow:
Rock N Roll & Deep Six
    Iron Grenadier & Viper
    Gung Ho & Cobra Commander
fred V:
i just hope we see a battle armored cc in the issue 64 cp...
Lantern_Lad:
Don't know about the others, but General Colton would be awesome!

... Actually, maybe we'll get a comic book accurate Zartan out of issue #25.

I love seeing all these vehicles again though... like the Dragonfly. A 25th style Dragonfly would be killer... but it would have to be a new sculpt since the modern figures don't fit in the cockpit.
Lt. Faceless:
The title is misleading,It makes you think Sneak-Peek is coming.

I took off Wild Bills holsters last night and he fits nicely in the back seat of the Dragonfly. Problem is the front seat seems to be a tighter fit, but I crammed Duke in. Now all I need is Airborne!

Ha Ha, I thought the same thing
Bub:
Having read all those issues in the past month or two, I wonder what they are thinking. In issue 86, there are vipers dressed as iron grenadiers (that has interesting possibilities....). In issue 64, it is probably the battle armor cobra commander (actually Fred)...but as for Gung-Ho...unless he was in the background when the Joes were digging the Pit III. And number 25? Deep six is in that I think, but I don't recall Rock & Roll....and certainly not in the outfits that we saw on the figures showed a couple of weeks ago...Weird choices. Anyways....

    #25 - Rock 'N' Roll & Deep Six
Rock 'N' Roll was the gunner on Zap's Dragonfly while Deep-Six in the SHARC went up against Wild Weasel (never understood why it wasn't Copperhead) & Firefly in the Water Moccasin.

    #64 - Gung Ho & Cobra Commander
Fred disguised as Cobra Commander arrives on Cobra Island. I think Gung Ho is just in one frame when Psyche-Out & Chuckles come back into the barracks to discover all the Joes who have been underground constructing Pit III.

    #86 - Viper & Iron Grenadier
Vipers disguised as Iron Grenadiers attempt to take control of a Top Secret laser that Joe Colton & G.I.Jane are in charge of. Eh...so technically you have both Vipers & Iron Grenadiers in this story.
Hicks_Royel:
Which seem like valid choices, I guess... Shame we couldn't get Joe Colton or even Psyche-out and Chuckles
Pimp Daddy Darklon:
That's most probably it Freedom. Have to dug up the comics involved first and match it with the walmart listings. Though Issue 64 can also be Scarlet-Cobra Commander since she has a bigger role in the story.
tkprime:
    Man.....I'd love a 25th Colton!
PREACHER007:
OVER AT TNI.COM THEY HAVE A SNEAK PREVIEW OF WAVE 7 OF THE GI JOE COMICS......THE LAST ONE LOOKS LIKE COLTON.i know that there were rumors but none have been confirmed have they?

    God Bless,
    JC
PREACHER007:
thank you for posting the link.i was so excited i forgot.
gunslingercbr:
Joe Colton would be awesome and would possibly be the highlight of the last few waves the way they are shaping up, even if just a Duke repaint. sadly, I'm not too confident in seeing him released.
Rocky:
I hear you, that would be a sweet figure. Gunslinger have you ever tackled that (Colton) figure?

I'm going to eventually. there are a lot of characters I keep holding out hope Hasbro will make, which is why I have been focusing on vehicle drivers or second tier characters, and I thought he would be one of them.
PREACHER007:
i want a joe colton.after dd made him look like a true BAD MAN kicking cobra tail he is a must.
Bub:
This will probably be a regular viper repaint...but if it isn't, i just remembered there are toxo-vipers and techno vipers in issue 86. Unlikely, but would be awesome. Also, they might just come with extra gear...the iron grenadier/vipers were wearing other gear in the story.

Techno-Viper would make this set worthwhile.
jasonong:
wait.. is Colton a DDP character?
nighthawk:
No, he was in the original series. Also, he was released as a mail order back in 1993 or 1994 by Hasbro and later re-released in a 6 pack with G.I.Jane, Interrogator and some Vipers.
xhairs:
    i see this
    Reprint of Issue 25 = Gung-ho & not sure
Reprint of Issue 64 = Fred in Armored CC suit & ???
Reprint of Issue 86 = shockwave & not sure.
GGPiKE:
If they do Shockwave, there will be some happy campers out there!

go back a couple of pages, the included figures have been been deduced (and confirmed by Entertainment Earth).
artiepants:
while i still think the figure choices are incredibly lack-luster (especially Gung-Ho, Rock n' Roll and Deep Six ~ seriously, guys?) nice to see they are going back to the reprints, the new comics were dreadful.

Desperately hoping they don't do anything redonkulous with the Viper/Iron Grenadier pack, i'd be down for a slew of those if they don't color them like w. 1 CC/Duke, w.2 and 5 Destro's, etc. maybe some new gear, and i wouldn't complain if they gave Viper some more neutral hands...

Fred VII's the one "repack" that actually makes a lot of sense, especially in a comic pack, and i am glad they are doing it.
barbecue:
The Hasbro choices for CP figures in that wave ain't bad. Sure it could have been better but. The repainted Deep Six is great for those who still don't haven't bought the SHARC vehicle, those who don't collect vehicles or for custom figure makers(it's excellent for a astronaut/Star Brigade custom action figure). Also the repainted Gung-Ho could be customized with some tweaks into Wild Card, the Mean Dog driver.

If the rumours about an IG/Cobra Viper CP are true I would be delighted to buy a couple of them if they are painted the right way, not wacky neon colors like Duke/CC CP.
Darth Jay:
Man, I saw Shockwave in the background on one of those and crossed my fingers... they pretty much HAVE to make him at some point, it would be so freaking easy...
Roadblock Recall:
you can order these at BBTS now.

it really irks me that Colton and Shockwave could be done with existing parts and absolutely minimal tooling and would be about 100x more interesting then a slightly recolored Gung-Ho or Rock n' Roll w/ short sleeves (which i do like, although TF Flints or Vipers would have been better than Mutt's) and crappy-ly applied camo pants (which i do not) ~ i do realize that different figures are coming in that pack, but i think the point is still legit...

Yeah, and if you think Scalpers are bad now, should have seen them back when THIS mail away offer was available.

Man that was a horrible way for a promotion.

exactly. I don't think there are many people who wouldn't prefer a Joe Colton and Shockwave comic pack (which, as you said can be made with existing parts), instead of another Viper or IG. Even if the Viper has corrected arm tooling I don't think it would make the figure more desirable than either of those.

I love his line, and have enjoyed all of it, but I don't think there is any doubt the Joe team has wrapped up all general involvement in it and their creativity and effort are going into the movie toys.
Copper21:
Of course, IG and Viper could be cool if they go with their original colors and not some comic look. One way to get rid of the Vipers is to pair it with a desireable troop builder like the Iron Grenadier.
fred V:
is this going to be a battle armored cc you think???

Yep, I was thinking the same exact thing while I as on here the other day. At some point we all knew that Hasbro was going to move their Joe budget over to the movie line. I guess the best we can hope for is that the movie is a huge hit and kids buy up a bunch of the movie figs. Then with some luck, they'll bring back this modern line and continue giving us updated ARAH figures.
KjK:
I'm thinking Hasbro is saving a lot of our favorites for when this line returns after the movie hiatus in the second half of 2009.
Hasbro has said in the Q and As we are getting one more wave this year (12) and 3 next year.
I think with the Walmart listings we now know everything that is coming until the movie line and they seem to be mostly repaints and repacks next year except Blowtorch.
I would be surprised if some of those first waves in 2010(!) didn't contain Tunnel Rat, Covergirl, Mindbender, Zarana and the rest.
I wonder if the Valor Vs. Venom line made them rethink there srategys, because that line re-did all the characters and introduced new ones in what seemed like a shorter period.
RolandofGilead:
I'd buy that if Joe were sinking the way the Indiana Jones line is. But it's still a massive success and they're treating it worse than the last days of the DTC line. A few repaints and repacks I understand, but when EVERYTHING is redone? There's not one new thing in that wave. I'm sorry but I don't count sticking Fred's head on CC's body as something new when we've all done it at home.
kennywr22:
Well i have to throw in my 2 cents to these wonderful(not) comic packs. I have collected every single piece so far to this line and have pretty much defended most of what has been done but these selections just absolutey blow big time. I would rather have no more comic packs if this is what we are getting now. I respect the fact of reusing molds to make up costs but this is just a here ya go jor fans you have to buy these because we painted them a little different. I'm a completist up until now but that might have to end. Anyways now that i've gotten that out of the way are we still getting the rumored night creeper pack? I'm starting to lose track of all the rumors/facts. Some one help me out here.thanks. Also i don't buy the fact that they may be keeping figures till after the movie hits, and if they are then that is quite a risk if you ask me. I mean don't you keep going when you have a good thing? The fact that you have a toy line that has people chomping at the bit for every new release would mean i would keep themcoming but i guess i'm no toy company. Oh well it's been great thus far.I really hope they aren't done till the movie though. Please Hasbro throw me a mind bender, Zandar, tunnel rat and con dusty before you throw in the towel.

boy, that wasnt to hard for hasbro to come up with, hell, hisstankers could do these ourselves......
Ewokhunter92:
Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say, no. This is exactly what us collectors are talking about when we say Hasbro thinks we are dumb schmucks who will buy anything.

This is also the type of crap that gets lines canceled because it clogs the pegs worse than it already is and claim the line is no longer selling.

    Crap, pure and utter crap.
Roadblock Recall:
Most of those are pretty bad. I like the Gung-ho, but only because of the green accessories. I could do some cool things with that vest of his.

Cobra Commander is neat...but it's a mod that I'm sure we've all already done ourselves.

I have EVERYTHING from this line so far. I think I've finally found my first items that I'm going to pass on.
samjjones:
Yuck, this will also be the first complete wave that I pass on as well.

If they re-did Gung Ho's head sculpt to be more cartoon accurate, I'd buy him.
artiepants:
i still irks the crap out of me they didn't give Deep Six at LEAST knees (elbows and ball-jointed hips and shoulders would have been so sweet, i'd have dropped $15 for the sharc just to get the figure...)
slg:
The only one I might get is the one with Fred as C.C. I missed him the first time he came around. I thought I heard that they were rerelease Armored C.C. in a revision case, is that true??? if so I will wait for that and do a head swap.
