I have had 2 issues with Marauder purchases and both were remedied in an expedient fashion. The first was my first experience buying Marauder products. I was at JoeCon and purchased an array of the Valkyrie parts for mix and match. When I got back to the hotel one of the figures fell apart. Marauder Reuben replaced it for me the next day and threw in some extra stuff for the hassle. My second was on an order of the recent special ops figures + random accessories and 1 of the pre-configured 'joe' type figures. I got the wrong torso on the special ops and I needed a specific one for a custom. I emailed them and they agreed to send me a replacement in my next order which turned out great. As others have mentioned I very frequently get extras thrown in and they have by far been the most proactive for the consumer customer service I have ever dealt with. I think if you can be patient and get all the info together that others here have suggested they should be able to help you.

In response to the original question: never. I have always enjoyed dealing with MTF.

Hi. I am just wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with Marauders Gun Runners? Here is what happened to me. I backed the K-9 Kickstarter with an "All In" pledge. The payment went through without a hitch. But we got the figures when they shipped and one was broken. Told MJ about it and was told I would get a replacement. That never took place.
Now, I am also a backer for the WWII figures. When it came time to pay my credit card was initially declined. A week later, it was approved. Well, it is time to ship the WWII figures. MGR sent out an email telling everyone to check their address with Backerkit. I went to the link they provided and lo, to my dismay, Backerkit not only had a dead address, but it showed no payment for the WWII figures . It did not even show two other Kickstarter projects that had been backed and paid for. I contacted all three projects and let them about what was going on. Both of the others went into action to make sure I would be receiving those rewards. I explained issues I was having and asked MGR if they had a working phone number or email address to any one in either Kickstarter or Backerkit because they provide neither on their respective websites. Marauders Gun Runner simply sent back an email with the response "we are not the bank or the phone company". This pledge was $699.00. I am disabled. These were presents for my sons. If I knew this would happen, I would have put the money to use elsewhere. I have done a lot of business with MGR in the past. But after getting screwed over for nearly $700.00, I am done. My money will go elsewhere and will encourage all of you to do so too. So am I the only one that the shaft or are there other people that have felt this sting? Squad7 |

I have to say, I only spend a fraction of the money most of you guys spend, and I have had great customer service. I asked about a "custom" package, I think I needed certain color knife handles but wanted tan or green or some other standard color sheathes and they charged me the package price for what amounted to individual items.
If they treat a little guy like me so well, I can't imagine they wouldn't help out someone dropping 100s of dollars. |

Well, imagine it, because I drop $700 in one spot and got nothing.

That would explain why there's no record of multiple kickstarters participated in if one did the same with each. If OP used the correct address when they paid, since the WW2 figures aren't entirely shipped yet and it was backed for $700(bigger orders seem to be taking longer) it might still yet ship. And if not, It's one thing for an order to fall through the cracks on one of these sites. But no record on Kickstarter, Backerkit, AND credit card? What does the Kickstarter page say? Mine has a record of every campaign I've backed, successful or failed, cancelled pledge or paid. If it's on that history then they have your order. My recommendation is check your Kickstarter account and confirm that you pledged there, then go back to the original Backer Kit survey emails(NOT the reminder) and click through to the links in there. When you complete your survey they send an email with a link to a page showing what you ordered. |
