The title says it all... This is the best price I've seen so far.
Amazon has the Big Millennium Falcon (BMF) for less than $100 with no tax and free shipping. Super saver shipping might not arrive by Christmas but for this price I don't think many folks will mind... Buy now before they sell out! Here's the link for those who are interested: Amazon.com: Star Wars 3.75" New Millennium Falcon: Toys & Games

i agree. with as many of these sitting on shelves in my area i don't see even this price decrease enough to be compelling enough to move them.

I guess its a matter of where you live. I happen to live in a fairly populated area of NJ, although I suppose that just about all of NJ is populated as its the most densely populated state.
Non the less, I've seen 16 Falcons...YES 16 Falcons sell within the last 3 weeks at my local TRU at $160 a pop, and thats just one store. I've only seen them at my local Targets a couple of times, while Walmart still seems to struggle to sell the same 4 that they've had since the debut. Point being....in my neck of the woods these things seem to sell really well despite the price. I'm sure X-Mas has a lot to do with it, but they also sold out of the initial shipment, which arrived in August if I remember correctly of 20 or so Falcons by the end of September as well. |

Well, at the very least, this thread will allow someone who was planning on buying this for Christmas to save some money on tax and shipping charges... Yes, this is an overpriced toy that will probably get slashed to clearance prices after the new year, but the purpose of this thread was to alert shoppers to a deal and not to create a forum to discuss Hasbro's pricing...
I've seen this in all my local stores but for much more money and there's always the tax rate-- which is at least 8-10% in my neck of the woods. I guess this thread isn't that helpful after all since the only people who posted a reply did so to comment and theorize on the price in stores and not to take advantage of this online deal... Oh well. Can't win 'em all, I guess... Merry Christmas anyway. I hope some shoppers can get in on this deal...

I agree the BMF is a overpriced toy. So is Kota. I remember all the initial price shock when it was released. And everybody bitched and moaned. However I don't see gamers whining so much. Why is that? Rockband 2 is similarily priced high. $180. I see skids of it. More than the BMF.

Am I the only one who sees Big mother f**ker when the BMF is listed as such?

My local Wal-Mart is sold out of the BMF. Same at Target and TRU. I guess they are moving fairly well around here. I'm getting one for Christmas, hope to pick up another after the holidays on clearance.
