Checking them all now, the Red Shadows Wolf Trooper has the most traditionally hard thumbs. |

Hmm why would they do that? I've heard such good things about them

I’d say I prefer the Grindstone and Delta hands over the Strikeforce alpha figures mostly because I have difficulty getting weapons to stay in the hands. I definitely fear the thumbs breaking LESS on Strikeforce but part of my wildest dreams include Delta and Grindstone eventually selling replacement hands

I agree that Strike Force Alpha has the softest hands and sometimes that makes it difficult for the figures to hold their weapons. I also have a really had time getting the Alpha Trooper to keep his backpack on. It just keeps falling out of the holes on his back. Imperfections happen in all of these lines, but I still think they're all pretty cool and I'm glad to have bought them all. |

I don't know if it was intentional or just the plastic formula the factory used, but giving the thumbs a squeeze now, yeah, they're pretty rigid.

Yeah, I messaged Delta-17 on Facebook and got a quick response with that answer. Still seems a little weird. No other figure in the line comes with a redundant spare part "just in case." I wonder if they had originally planned to do something with the extra antenna but it didn't pan out? Or they just had an overrun of that part at the factory and decided to get rid of the extras? I don't know.
Anyway, I was wrong about Rooster being the only figure who can't use all of his gear. Thunder Battalion also comes with an alternate helmet visor he can't stow when he's not using. The best I've been able to do with it is hang it off his belt by one of the pegs. |

Ok this is interesting. I just found out the company making these figures is about an hour from where I live.

Sorry, I meant the antenna. The extra could be used for a missing one for Joes if it fits.
