I'll be catching PJ in Vegas and possibly in Chicago & Seattle too. I try to see them at least once every tour. Incredible band, and their live shows are on another level.

Last concert i went to was ozfest 06. I finally got to see iron maiden live! Between that, inflames and arch enemy ( back when angela gossow was the front woman ) i was in heaven. It also might been a contact high from all the weed being smoked during black label societies set too.

I saw Tears for Fears for the 3rd time about a year or two ago in Dallas. I don't go to concerts very much anymore. I'm lucky enough to have seen everyone I wanted to see when they were better than they are now.

I think the Violent Femmes tour a lot, you'll probably have more chances to see them. Ritchie is great on bass. Gano looks a little funny now but still sounds good. Good concert story and pics, sorry about your sister (and your heels). How are they now? Had no idea they were still touring. It's pretty much Buzz on keys and running samples, Groovie just singing lead, and a competent touring drummer and bass player. The live rhythm section helped it feel more like a performance. Some songs, Groovie probably danced around during more than he sang but the crowd was dancing their asses off the whole show too so it kind of worked. The only instrumentals I remember them doing were at the top of the encore when Groovie was still recovering backstage. |

The last concert I went to was NIN in 2018. Best one I've ever been to, but I'm real picky about my music. I don't go to a lot of concerts.

I saw The Descendents, Circle Jerks and The Adolescents last month. I'm hoping I can see Helmet and The Cro-Mags on the 15th.

The heels took a long time to recover. I had to walk on my toes for weeks. Ruined/changed the rest of the trip. In hindsight, I am lucky I did not suffer a compound fracture. It is not that it was so high of a jump but I had to clear a railing. I could barely even get up. I had to hobble and drag myself to get the picture with a security guard trying to cut me off. Gave me a new respect for the players diving for balls! Best part is, he only walked me to the concourse and let me go. Think he felt bad for me because I could not even walk. I went back to my seat. It was around encore so would not have missed much. As a kid, I always wanted to jump on the field during a game. I would not do that now for players safety but seemed like a good time to scratch an old bucket list and I was pointing for my sis. Thanks Svn This link shows the distance of the jump. Pic would not upload without error. Other pics do not do it justice for distance. Even seeing this picture kind of blows my mind and I realize how foolish I was/am. https://torontosun.com/sports/baseba...-to-booed-jays |
