I just started collecting joes again about 4 months ago. I have gotten over 100 25th figures, some vintage, and a few vehicles. I am very much getting into it. I love G.I. Joe as a kid and am starting to get that nostalgic feeling with them. I mainly collect Transformers, but am considering heavily thinning out my TF collection to just classics, animated, and movie stuff and getting rid of anything from G1 to cybertron.

Other way around for me. I hate ROC with all my might and is because of that trash I can complete my DCUC line.

I mainly collect Transformers but Animated & the movie figures knocked me right out of it. I hardly ever buy any Transformers anymore because Animated & the movie lines suck so badly. Cybertron & Universe are the greatest Transformers lines IMO. |

actually i have considered giving up collecting in general as i get so everlovin tired of the raise n lower price game companies continously play. leave it at a reasonable level and such would be ncie but unlikely given corporate greed.

I would not get rid of my TF's unless I had to, and this past year I had to let some go.
Trust me man, it bothered me to let go of a few of them. Although my Henkei's are still intact!

Before 25th, I was just buying stuff here and there so there was no real commitment to anything. Once 25th came..I just stopped all that and concentrated on Joes, saving and spending accordingly for that stuff alone. With RoC I just buy what I really really like..generally its the stuff that wasnt in the film.
I have alot of crap and too much of it has some kind of childhood/senimental value behind it for me to sell...I wouldnt sell off what I have to buy new stuff. I just collect according to budget. |

Yep, Sold off all my Marvel Legends and DCUC, even sold my MOTU classics. Im all Joe all the way, although I do pick up an occasional 3 3/4 marvel figure.
So aside from Joes I have a huge collection of simpsons WOS but its all in storage. |

When the 25th Anniversary hit I sold all my Marvel Legends and jumped in head first.
I've pretty much stopped collecting the 12" G.I. Joe stuff too because I kept alot of that in original packaging and have no more room - so those funds went into my 25th and ROC collection. |
