I swung into both a Marshalls and TJ Maxx today. Pretty poor toy section compared to last year. Only Joes in both were leftover movie figures. Not a vehicle to be seen. Very lean on Trasformers as well.
How are other areas looking? Similar selection? |

It's about the same here. I do notice an occassional vehicle like a Polar Sharc or a Tiger Paw or something like that, but mostly it's leftover movie figures----and not many of those at that.

Ours has leftover RoC and the Mechs that the local TRU and Target couldn't sell all year. That's really about it so far.

Out in my area those stores had maybe ONE RoC Rex and maybe a scattered tiger paw here...no tfs or anything else noteworthy.

I agree... last year TRU Express and other stores had HOHs for 5$ and the 25th Stinger vehicle wave for $10... this year... natta.

Eh, I've been saying for the past year that what we saw back in 2010 SHOULD NOT be expected to be a recurrent event.
Hasbro and the big retailers don't make much, if any, money selling leftover stock to TJ Maxx or Marshalls, and Hasbro WAS (and apparently did) going to reduce production numbers to avoid that. The bursting pegs (note sarcasm) of PoC waves 3-6 were largely the result of that.

T.J.maxx here has something like 15 night ravens and they keep circulating in ROC fig, I don't mind the ROC fig as i break them up for parts.
