Before The 25th Anniversary Figures came in with more articulation and sharper designs, there were some G.I. Joe and Cobra figure that looked pretty damm good and gave us a glimpse towards the possibility of better looking Joes. Which are those figures? and which ones still hold up today? To Start, I still Like the 2006 3rd version of Grand Slam, the look was cool, also Chief Torpedo was one of my favorite from 2003's roaster. I just really liked the sculpt and felt it more poseable than the previous figures. Also, it was nice to Have Torpedo out of his Dive gear as an alternative when posing with the team.

Cross-Hair holds up really well, apart from his proportions being a bit off.

That’s a good one. Cross-Hair’s 3rd version (which was the same as the 2003 one) had better repainted colors and it stood Out more. I agree it still Holds up next to the new ones.

This is a good figure. I don't have one, but I should!

Great idea. I have sort of given up on my O-Ring Figures, but there are a few gems out there from the Monkey-Arms era, and a few I still mix in with the MOdern Era.
My Favorite are the Cobra Coils v2: Cobra Coils (v2) G.I. Joe Action Figure - YoJoe Archive 2nd favorite, Sand-Viper V4 who look more like they belong to Destro: Sand Viper (v4) G.I. Joe Action Figure - YoJoe Archive Final one is B.A.T. v7 the one that came three packed in the APC. (Hasbro did us a solid on this one.) Cobra B.A.T. (v7) G.I. Joe Action Figure - YoJoe Archive Snake-Eyes v23 might be the best O-Ring version in my opinion: Snake Eyes (v23) G.I. Joe Action Figure - YoJoe Archive

I've got a soft spot for Scarlett from VvV and I don't hate Kamakura v1.
