So, I've been taking a look at several of my 50th Anniversary figures and noticed there's a coyote/wolf faction symbol that they have on their uniforms. All of these figures are urban/night-themed, leading me to believe this may have been a way to sell a Night Force group at standard retail. The 50th anniversary figures/vehicles that have this emblem are:
- Lt. Falcon - Outback - Shooter - Hit & Run - Ace - Sightline - Skystriker Can anyone help elaborate on what this group is? It was hinted in the special ops 3 pack as being a "night themed special forces unit". |

I recently saw guys mentioning the wolf pack, I was unfamiliar with it. Think they said it was an unofficial sub team.

It's an official sub team called Wolf Squad. Here's more:

No, they've definitely acknowledged it. There's slides from a Joe con presentation somewhere with the name and logo. I think Weber created it.
The first run guys were unofficial, but as of the 3 pack last year, it became official complete with logo. I think the logo might be on the Skystriker they did with Ace

It’d be nice to know the background / military purpose of the sub group. I’m sure they put some thought into it, but I’ve heard anything released.
We know what Night Force did, same with Sky Patrol of BF 2K for example. I’d love to know more about Wolf Squad. Last edited by Dod Ear; 02-18-2018 at 07:34 PM.. |

Yeah, i don't believe there is an official purpose, but i feel like most of us on the Tank who like Wolf Squad agree it's sort of Joe team's high risk missions and black ops and even wetwork and virtual suicide missions (except they live cause they tough) A classified team within a classified team. Which actually works now that Joe is a publicly known group in most continuities
