So I am curious, and always have been, about how they go about shrinking the 2ups to half the size. Modern day, they'd just scan them with a 3D scanner and scale them down digitally, then print them out again I'd assume.
I noticed that a lot of them had only one lower leg... I wonder if that was due to both lower legs essentially being the same sculpt (just mirrored) on some of these, which is why they were treated last? |

Actually some of these look better than the final lol Quote:
Lots of vintage figs have a single lower leg, used for both right and left. So, there's no point on sculpting them, he just did one, then gets duplicated in factory work*. Note that most have only one leg. I think one has only the outer portion of upper legs, most probably cos the inner thights are reused too. Smart move! *Footloose and Iron Grid are good examples.
