Got them in the mail today. Other than the slightest bit of flash that had to be cleaned (that came right off with my thumbnail), they're pretty damn perfect. Resin instead of plastic, but when I compared them to the Pulse versions the difference was negligible. Highly recommended, especially if you can't hang with the Holey Super Soakers retail SE came with (which I admit had been growing on me slightly, but these are way better).
Of course they're sold out now, but if you message him on ebay and ask nicely, I'm sure he'll make more. As John Connor once said, it's "easy money." I get paid tomorrow, I'll probably ask him real nice like. |

I'm happy for those that want troop builders, but I am a little bummed by how Classified is being done. These three figure waves feel unsatisfying and since I'm not interested in troop builders or repeat characters without good reason, it lowers it to 1 figure every couple of months.
Makes the wait for characters I'm really looking forward to harder, ya know? |

For some reason, I like the little random red rectangle over his visor. I can't explain why.

Agreed...personally I am inclined to think that a classified Storm Shadow and Baroness will still end up in wave two, with an announcement this Friday or over any virtual SDCC event they might do, if any. Also wouldn’t be shocked to see Alley Viper joining the fray...
Also would not be surprised to see carry-forwards as in Black Series either, such as a Snake Eyes in a wave two case or maybe a Destro. Cobra soldier/officer would be great for that too, down the line when they finally get around to it. Maybe some stuff could be announced during trailer release too, whenever that is? |

The movie delay is likely messing up everything, and the pandemic hurts the economy all around that retail sales in general are down, which further would scare away folks from full blown retail product pushes. Lot of what we are seeing with Classified past wave 1 is likely mix of what would have been event/con exclusives and changing of plans due to the movie delays. Like look at the number on the amazon Storm Shadow, it's so far out there and kinda seems out of place right now with the smaller wave 2, so it feels like some plans were altered.
But to also remember with wave 1 they revealed 3 figures for retail, and they held back on showing Destro and retail SE for a while. So imagine they might be doing the same with wave 2 and we might still get the last 2 figs added Last edited by PanzerKrake; 07-16-2020 at 08:42 AM.. |
