So, hey. This thread is a bit dusty, but I have some information that might shed some light on this whole situation.
The report from last January said that a reliable source saw "GI Joe Action Figures" in a limited access space at Nuremberg Toy Fair. Subsequently, GI Joe content from Jazwares disappeared. Given issues with Covid 19, it's possible that Hasbro instructed them to "hold off" on reveals until a coordinated launch in association with Snake Eyes (which was MIA at Toy Fair, and following months seemed to justify that decision to omit that presence with a year long delay). Today, Jazwares sent out press material for a new line of collectible figures: Zoteki. https://www.figures.com/2020/09/10/j...oteki-figures/ 4" Collectible figurines. Now, if you saw these at a glance, they could be misinterpreted as standard action figures. And if they were showing 2 or even 3 Series? That's a wide range of potential character selections. I'm not saying that's what happened, but I can certainly see the possibility if Jazwares is setting up Zoteki as a new collection line, they would certainly have multiple licenses to leverage, much like their Domez line. Perhaps this solves the great mystery of the Jazwares GI Joe figures?

Kind of statues with the size of standard Joe figures... These will be good for display.

Honestly, I hate this kind of shit. Just give me regular 4” figures with reasonable articulation.

Agreed. I hate busts too and statues of any kind. What a waste of money. I mean, they actually sell this stuff and make so much of it but I can’t get a damn 4” articulated figure? But I can get this garbage and little one inch Dukes?

Gawd, those are PU awful. Marvel Unleashed! Hasbro did these in the Mid Naughties and they were a mess.
