The change to 1:12 is a bit disappointing and not something I'll back. I don't necessarily think scale was the issue with the funding, but good look to them.

Wish them well, sad to see a 1/18 project not succeed though. |

I am very disappointed. I have to say that my excitement for these had me going back and re-looking at Boss Fight's fantasy line. I was all prepared to start buying knights and horses to meet up with these but now that option is gone.

I went in for one, only to have someone for Big Boa and Duke to fight. Oh well.

It didn't get done at 1:18. Personally I think the lackluster movement on recent action figure kickstarters has less to do with the offerings themselves or the "structure of the Kickstarter" so much as a good number of collectors waiting to the tune of 2-3 years for kickstarter product they backed and maybe not feeling like putting up with that again. |

Except they don't need to "compete," Just interest enough people in buying them (possibly to complement their Mythic Legions and/or MotU stuff) to get funded (and if we're being optimistic some beyond that).

Honestly, my main bit of advice for new KS campaigns is to maybe keep the first assortment to a minimum, one or two figures at the most, to keep the funding threshold low and gain experience dealing with the foreign production side of the equation. Then once you’ve funded and delivered that first wave expand for the next.

Has anyone stopped to ponder what a stupid name "The Unslain" is?

Your second point is definitely playing into the overall situation, but I dunno that this campaign would have failed if all the other issues hadn't existed and the only thing hanging over its head was the slow progress of the other 2 campaigns. |

It sounded better than “The Still Alive”.
