I always look at the actual rating score and not the freshness meter. With that being said, an overall critic's score of 6.8 or higher on RT is actually pretty decent.

All anybody ever says anymore is "it has no PLOT". People don't even know what the hell "plot" is, they just say everything has no plot. If they didn't like it, it automatically has no plot. If they didn't understand something it automatically has "plot holes". They think it makes them sound more educated but instead it makes them sound like idiots!

I have had a problem with reviews for a while. I am finding that others opinions on movies don't always seem to fit what I feel about the movie.

Tell me folks, how many people in real life always take the "ideal" course of action? Especially under stress? |

Are you kidding me? Basically, with one of my paychecks where you are- I could see a movie with my significant other, get a burger, and maybe buy some beer after paying my cellphone. |

Dude, breathe and read the thread. He's from Trinidad and Tobago, and that's $45 TT dollars, which is about $8 US. Context is a M.F.

Now, $35+ isn't terrible for a night out, by any means, but it's expensive enough that I want to be a bit picky about what movies I see in theatres. Indiana Jones and the Kindom of the Crystal Skull - not sure that was worth it, for example. Should have listened to the critics on that one, because by the end of the movie, I paid $35+ to be greatly disappointed. I really should have waited to rent or borrow it on DVD. I think critics can be helpful, that way, but of course you have to take what they say with a grain of salt.

$5.00 American dollars to see the movies here. The movie is already here in Puerto Rico theaters, I'm going early afternoon. I'm gonna watch Hangover heard it was funny then I'll watch RoC.

I agree, but on the other hand, going out to a movie can be an expensive endeavour. About $10 a ticket here, so there's twenty bucks for me an the gf - and for people with kids, multiply that accordingly - and then if I want to get some popcorn, etc, probably add at least another $15 on top of that.
