You guys are probably right. It was the weirdest thing having to have to put the tackle box away of action figures because I couldn't stop sneezing. The only other thing I'm allergic to is mr. bubble bubble bath. But I'm happy that they released some regular RAH joe scale figures and not only 6" ones.

I've been collecting modern era figures purchasing them from TRU and other places MOC and opening them up. I can't imagine mold would develop because it wasn't an over time thing, it is like a 20 minute window that I have to enjoy the modern era figures before I start sneezing uncontrollably. So I started building up my vintage collection and have been continuing with that. I'll either sell or give my godson my modern era figures once he's old enough because I can't enjoy them. That's a reward in itself. I love passing on Joes.

That's both a fascinating and devastating allergy.

Not mold but mold release, a chemical lubricant they spray into the steel tooling before injecting the plastic so the parts can pop out more easily. They usually leave that on there (and formulate special paints that can cut through it) to save themselves some steps in production. You might be allergic to the lubricant instead of the plastic.

Count me as one of the ones bummed about them not making O-rings. Black Major continues to be the only source for now I suppose. I am happy about the vehicles though.

Really, that sucks about the allergy. You could take a Claritin about 30 min before playing with them. That's cool that you can pass them on. I'm glad retro are ME figures as I decided that was going to be my collection after I got back into Joe's in 2008. I'm a little disappointed by the initial wave, but it will be good for parts. I'm holding my love or hate of this line until we see RB, Scarlett, and Duke. Hopefully, they will not screw them up. Check out Hisshissfangfang's work to see what a proper ME Duke, RB, and Scarlett should be.

I very happy we are getting ME Joe's but I wouldn't have been upset if they were o-rings. Hopefully we get an updated Stinger driver with vehicle.

I was really looking forward to new o-ring Joes. After what they're doing with other lines, I thought for sure thats what they were doing. Still hoping they might do it for the ARAH 40th in 2022. A box set of all the 82 Joes would be awesome, especially if they include both straight arms and swivel arms and waists that we could switch out ourselves.

If there's even a 1 in 100 chance that's the issue it's worth checking out. A sink of warm water with a little bit of dish soap, a good scrub with a soft bristle toothbrush, then blast all the water out of the joints and crevices with some compressed air before letting them dry... then see if they still sneeze.
