When hunting for Joes on eBay, you come across figures that originally came with vehicles, like Darklon, Serpentor, IG Destro, etc., and the the vehicles are not included but the seller labels them as 100% complete...are they really 100% complete? I say no because originally they came with a vehicle. Opinions?

I would say that the figure is actually an accessory to the vehicle in these cases. I guess if the figure had all the items intended for it and not the vehicle, then saying it's complete is possibly accurate.
Now, if you sold the vehicle as complete but didn't include the figure, i think that would be inaccurate.

I look at them as two separate items even though they are packaged together. For me the answer is yes, if the figure is listed on eBay as 100% complete and has all of the figure accessories but no vehicle then I’m good.

Ha there are sellers on ebay who list figures such as Sneak peak, Dee Jay etc without there mics still as 100% complete. I personally don't consider it 100% with out all weapons accessories and FILE CARD to be 100% Complete. The same goes for vehicles if it doesn't contain all original parts, blue prints and its driver it isn't complete. However I would say a vehicle is complete without the box and inserts. Is it really 100%? No, but it is still complete in my opinion as not everyone wants the box or inserts and they are not a necessary part of play.

It depends on what your intentions are for. If you want just the figure, then as long as it has it's guns, webgear, microphone, what not, then I'd call it a "complete figure." If your intentions are to get the vehicle and figure, then I'd call it a "complete vehicle with driver" if the vehicle had all it's parts with the figure and all it's parts. If you intend to just get the vehicle, then I'd call that a "complete vehicle" if the vehicle had all it's parts and stickers.

I'd say no & vice versa (the vehicle isn't complete without its driver), but ebay is mostly full of shit & out-sized expectations of value.
What I find even more goofy is the "97-98-99% complete" crap, especially when the seller posts one grainy, poorly-lit photo and doesn't bother to say what's missing. I mean, what's the percentage to completeness of a missing microphone or gun or missile or a goddamn wheel? Seriously, I saw an auction for a Thunder Machine missing a wheel and the auction was all, "95% complete!", but the pic was at such an angle you had to look really closely to notice the three-wheeled nature of the toy.
