Hey Cobras,
I saw that there were some questions about last nights action in the battle thread. These are all frequently asked questions, so I'll go ahead and answer them right here. At reset, for the first hour, only ten guys from your team can post. Any posts that go over that first ten are reposts, like a do over or Mulligan. Once we get past the first hour, at 1am (or 10pm for you west coast guys) there is no restriction on how many players can post, even the whole team can post at once if they haven't already. You only get one post per day, unless you are a dog handler. When a team leader uses an action command like "All units attack" or "Defensive perimeter" the bonus is added after the fact. so for example, last night when Talisman used the "All units attack" for one hour, his whole team gets a +1 bonus every time they attack. So, if a soldier normally gets Hurt -2, I go ahead and add on the +1, to make a total of Hurt -3. You post your normal damage like you always do, I add in the bonus when I'm doing the count A -5 becomes a -6, a -3 becomes a -4, etc, etc. "Defensive perimeter" reduces the enemy's attack by -1, so if they post Hurt -4, that becomes hurt -3. Every hit gets reduced by -1. The Mercenaries used that last night against the I.G.s attack. Its a good way to protect your team from an all out barrage. As you might of guessed, if one team uses "All units attack" and the other team uses "Defensive perimeter", they cancel each other out. It becomes normal damage. __________ If you Hurt a heal a target that is already KO, your post is not wasted. Your post becomes a "Misfire". So, whats the difference between a "Repost" and a "Misfire". A repost is when I ask you to do you post over again. A misfire is when you hurt or heal a guy that is already KO. When you have a misfire, you lose 1 point as a penalty, the rest of the damage points get spread out among the other targets. Same thing for a Heal, you lose 1 point, the rest of the Heal points get spread out among you own guys. Example: Python Puckman tries to heal Storm Shadow +6, but Storm Shadow is already KO. He loses 1 point right off the bat as a penalty, so now he's down to +5. That plus 5 gets handed out to the other five Cobra ninjas that are still alive, so they all go up by 1hp. If there are only two Cobra Ninjas left, one of them will get +3hp, the other will get +2hp. If there were three guys left, two of them would get +2, the last guy would get +1. The same thing happens when you try to Hurt a target that is already KO, your damage gets spread out to the other targets that are still alive. The difference is that the Heals go out from top to bottom, right down the list, the Hurt points go out from the guy with the highest Hp to the guy with the lowest hp. And Krisk, when I'm hopped up on cold medicine, my head weighs 200 lbs, and I have had four hours of sleep, Black Dragons then become the "Back Dragons", LOL! I thought that was pretty funny.
