Still just a plane. I find the RHINO or the RAGE 100% more interesting or cooler *shrug*

I got a few questions! I've been reading on hisstank about how much molds cost and how we will never see anymore big vehicles.
So with the new striker what do yall think we can see given if they use old molds to regroup their ideas. Basically, if we go with the fact that NO ONE has brought up the point that we got a NEW Night Raven/Sand Serpent, PIT vehicle and HISS tank. Now before yall go off on how bad they were, this is about making new molds with old vehicles in mind (Ford and chevy have blown up the retro look so it obviously in many mind sets across the spectrum of marketing) |

I think the real appeal for the Skystriker was that if you were the kid on the block with it, you had instant friends. It was sort of a status symbol as a kid. Even more so if you had the Flagg...then all the kids came to your house to play all the time. I think not many kids had the skystriker as a kid so when they are adults they want to experience owning it out of the box.
There was only a kid here with it...still he wasn't popular, the damned thing was too big to be actually fun. Besides, we could take out of his room, his parents would kill us lol I understand what you meant though, good point. .

I think it's a tricky spot. Our Walmart doesn't even stock GI Joe right now. The only place that does is Target and they have 3 pegs and a space for the little vehicles. So the wide spread appeal is a bit hit or miss.
I know some of you guys have like 5 walmarts in driving distance and can check them all daily, but in my neck of the woods. Walmart is 35 miles away and doesn't stock Joe at all. So the ' Big vehicle' thing might not be universal. While we collectors like them. We make up like 1% if that of the market base. More likely something like 0.25% ALLL that being said. I'm the proud owner of a $100 Millennium Falcon and they did sell the $100 ATAT. I think they COULD sell more big stuff for GI Joe but I wouldn't hold my breath unless sale numbers went up. I.E. wait for the next movie. Till then... probably not.
