I can't figure out the SW figure articulation. Seems like the sets they put out have figures with various types included in one pack. The crappy hips and legs are so odd. You know they can make them better.

see my last post. Its a stupid rule, but its not really Hasbro's decision on it. and LFL is very controlling of their contract partners (Just ask Bantum or Dark Horse)

The "super articulated Clone trooper" (yes, that's ACTUALLY what the figure is called) has ball joints on everything but the wrists, and is now the standard for all clone tropers. Other than that its VERY uncommon. Vizla was a popular figure because of that articulation. I think the Mandalorian policeman might also have it but you'd have to check.
I saw a camoed trooper and it looked like he had ball joints too, might have to get him. And there was a Mace Windu, which had a cloth skirt, that sounds suspicious too. Quote:
Most of the time that lack of articulation looks horrible (almost all hips looktoo thin or weird), and posing is seriously compromised, even more than having lots of small ball hinges. Bah. Quote:
Last time i bought SW figs, i got really dissapointed, that's why i'm asking. As a side note, this looks quite cool.

Not all, but about 90%. The Clone Wars series clones are hit and miss. The "saga" series ones are all ball jointed.
Confusing. Isn't it? Check out the toy archive on rebelscum.com if you want the full rundown on a figure before purchase. *LINK PENDING* [QUOTE=M_renegade;2169117 Well, Lucas sucks. Most of the time that lack of articulation looks horrible (almost all hips looktoo thin or weird), and posing is seriously compromised, even more than having lots of small ball hinges. Bah.[/QUOTE] I agree. but I don't make the rules. I can talk to Sue Rostoni and Leland Chee about stuff with books and comics for editing purposes, but I've never found a way to contact anyone on the toy development team. I've been impressed with all the MBII set so far. I like that they're basing the guys we already have on classic military uniforms. They look great. Dial Tone is simply bad-ass in his special forces gear. Land Wetsuit is a great idea. Mainframe...well, I'm not a fan of the colour, should have been slightly darker, but still cool. Leatherneck is great. |

LoL!
In any case, the sets are usually too expensive with the money change *blush* Quote:
I just remembered the rebelscum site lol Yep, looks like some of the figs have ball joints. Precisely that trooper and the Mace Windu i suspected...damn, i passed on him, now i'll have to go back. Quote:
Tell them that they need to get a good drawer for their comics, ffs! And that i'm available, of course Quote:

I've been thinking on doing a seal team, and wasn't sure how to approach a land Wet Suit, so this is really useful. I'm not convinced on the PoC vest tho, it is too obvious it doesn't belongs there. I don't care about DT, tho it looks good. Mainframe could have used some new parts, since they updated the other guys... Honestly, i would go just to finally meet friends here.
