Tomorrow I will have an announcement regarding the position of the GI JOE GAME COMMUNICATION OFFICER
but for now this is how some things will be handled, mainly the adding of new players New players and roster control - We will use what im calling the +1 system(for lack of better name). Here is how it works All new player must PM the Game Communication officer (GCO) who is currently echo7solo, with their intention to play in the game and say whether they will play for any team and or their choice of team. The GCO will respond back to them with instructions within 24 hours. Basically it works on the idea that team A cannot add players until team B has and equal number of players. Say that teams are even, and a new player wants to play for team A. This player could play immedietely for said team. ANother new player must play for team B until team A can take on another new player. If a player wants to play for team A, when team A already has a +1 advatage they can play for team B, or they can wait until team B gets a new player (making teams equal again) and at that point they can play for team A. Said player would be added to a list and notified as soon as they are eligible to play. former MIA players who wish to play in the game will be apart of said process and is explained in further below MIA status - Once a player reaches MIA status they will be dropped after said battle. A player will be considered MIA if they don't post for 5 consecutive game post days with out just cause. If a player reaches MIA and wishes to return they will be added in the same process as new players, except that there rank points will be cut in half. |

I dont agree with this proposal because you should be able to be dropped off a roster if you post less than 50% of the time for the entire round
5 consecutive days is no good, i say if a round goes 10 days and you post 5 times or less the team leader should be allowed to drop a player |

5 consecutive days is no good, i say if a round goes 10 days and you post 5 times or less the team leader should be allowed to drop a player However, that should only be allowed IN BETWEEN battles, not during. If you drop a player during a game, their posts should also be negated which would just cause a ton of confusion.

just let me explain it the way i understand things.
First I want to say that the +1 idea was something that the team leaders knew about BEFORE this 2nd battle started. But reasons exactly like this are why we need an acting gi joe game communications officer....more on this soon. I understand there can be 2 sides to each story and that i don't know the stories, but I can only go by the facts that i see, and do what I see to be fair and even. I think once i lay out the facts and explain things, and if i got the facts right everyone will understand things to be fair. If i am off on some facts or missing some please let me know so that i can add them. I know that when we started we had even teams at 26 players each. In the first battle the joes added 1 player "croc master" so they were up 1 player. after battle one team cobra PM'd me and told me they were dropping 2 players who didn't post, and those were xox ghoulish, and bildar76 Then the Joe team told me that they were dropping 2 players warrant officer flint and the loud master So at this point the joe team had 1 more player on their team as compared to cobra. Then cobra added one more player "blot" to make teams even. Then the joe team added nemesis enforcer, which put the joe team 1 person ahead. then the joe team lost roadbloack recall(RR) for a while. SO now teams are even. But here is the situation. The joe team was up one person before RR took his break. SO this doesn't mean that the joe team can add a "replacement " player because when RR comes back the joe team will be 2 people over cobra. It not like we are going to tell RR's replacement or RR when they come back that they have to shift to cobra. There is my understanding of the situation based on the fact sI know. |

I agree for the most part. If you're participating in less than 50%, the leader should be able to drop you.
However, that should only be allowed IN BETWEEN battles, not during. If you drop a player during a game, their posts should also be negated which would just cause a ton of confusion. That is the case. A team can and will be able to drop a player if they don't post for 5 consecutive days. But if a team specifically tells me that they don't want to drop a player. As in the case where money-b told me he didn't want to drop darthzartan i didn't argue with him. Im not forcing a team to drop its players, if they choose to keep a player that doesn't post that is there issue. they may know something I don't about that player. But in the big picture this and situations like these are why we need an active gi joe game communication officer so that one person can handle all the rosters and things don't get so complicated. |

Sounds like you have a PERFECT understanding of the situation young
i just think we should be able to drop any player between rounds that posts 50% or less, this is only fair, if you are posting that little clearly you don't have that much interest in playing |

here is a quote I took from post 242 above MIA status - Once a player reaches MIA status they will be dropped after said battle. A player will be considered MIA if they don't post for 5 consecutive game post days with out just cause. If a player reaches MIA and wishes to return they will be added in the same process as new players, except that there rank points will be cut in half. |

its not confusing it is the "consecutive" part i don't like
i mean say a player posts on day one of the round then posts 1 or 2 more times during a 10 day round, that IS NOT 5 CONSECUTIVE DAYS yet clearly that player is not helping the team and should be dropped |
