The Flagg was awesome when it first came out in the late 1980s! It still is awesome to this very day! I wish I had one!

It is crap. Sellers should feel lucky if they get $50 from me for that waste of space. PM me of you need to make space in your house.

I never had one so I can't really say how great or how crap it is. But, I would like to see someone scratch build a true 1:18 Nimitz-class super carrier. It would be 60 feet long.

I will say I agree that I liked the Defiant over the Flagg in terms of play value but the Flagg is one of THE quintessential and iconic vehicles from the vintage line and it too wad fun to pay with.....I just got more outta the Defiant than the Flagg.

As a customizer and designer the Flagg is disappointing. There are some really cool toys from the era that did more with much less. I don't have any problems with the accessories; my problems are with looks and design. There is a tremendous amount of wasted space and from several angles it doesn’t look like a ship. I’ve seen a few customs out there but nothing that made me change my mind about it. Its 7’ of wasted plastic.
Its time for something bigger and better. I still think the Flagg is a cool iconic toy. I can't believe it ever got produced. I can't imagine what it would cost to release one today. |

Now I will be th first to say the OP is entitled to his opinion BUT COME ON!!! In the 80's that was the Benchmark of a collector. Automatic status staple if you were the only kid in your class to get one and in all honesty yes Star Wars had cool play sets and vehicles but I still feel the Joe line dominated the toy eisles can you name one toy line that made a 7 foot depiction of a vehicle from a cartoon an comic, not that I can name one. Add to that the hundreds of other vehicles and dozen other huge play sets including 3 headquarters and a Dome. Regardless, in today's world the Flagg may seem lack luster but it would cost a small fortune to create the same playset with a few modifications. I personally would love own one for display and dio set up,.... Someday.
