I know this is just a kit bash LBC, but I really like how he came together. I've alway had a connection to Shipwreck as he looked just like my my Poppy (grandfather), who was an actual Navy Seaman.
Poppy served in WWII on a supply ship that never saw action, but he had some interesting souvenirs he won gambling with other servicemen. The most memorable was a Japanese officer's sword that he won off of a Marine. I'll never forget finding that sword tucked away in his hall closet. He donated it when he found out there was an effort to repatriate that sort of thing back to Japan. Back to Shipwreck... Recipe Head Bandana and Revolver - 25th Tunnel Rat Neck - Jurassic Joe Neck Covering - Retaliation G.I. Joe Trooper v2A Vest - 50th Hawk fitted and modified Shotgun Holster - some modern o-ring fig Forearm Armor - JoyToy Hands - Steel Brigade Delta (Vamp Driver) Belt and Thigh Straps/Pouch - ? Thigh Holster and Pouch - POC Law Feet - POC Dusty Monkey - The Golden Compass Mrs. Coulter with 25th Falcon bandana I really like the Dollar General Shipwreck, but as a budget fig he has issues. Most are easy to fix with fodder. Still two issues remained for me. 1. The blue sweater, blue neck and blue knit cap. Added a fleshtone neck and I found that Tunnel Rat's Bandana just fits Shipwreck. Problem solved. 2. The Dollar General Shipwreck legs (POC Law had them first I think) always seem a little off for some reason. I've found if you switch them below the knee (of course swap the feet) it really seems to fix whatever it is that bothers me about them.

https://www.yojoe.com/sigma6/toys/2007/shipwreck/ At first I used him as my http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...character.html but while doing a mock-up of 50th Shipwreck, I decided to use the mock-up body as Wryneck which left DG Shipwreck available again. I used the 50th Shipwreck as a Navy dog handler, instead, that I might post eventually. They're all in the new first pic of this thread.

This is a fantastic figure, really great work! A nice update on what's come before without losing the character.
