Scoop
Parts: Helmet: Elite Forces tank driver-modded Head: Yavin Honor Guard Body: Cobra Officer-modded Gun belt: Lady Jaye Video Camera: Godzilla movie figure Camera: cast of original camera from Scoop with styrene strap Low-light Parts: Body-Beachhead Head,Cap,Goggles,Gun,-BBI Vest-I beleive it is a cast of the Gung-Ho vest most people are using for this figure. I got in a fodder bag of cast from GTG and had to to do alot of trim work to get it looking good. Last edited by Tonphanan; 03-15-2009 at 11:00 PM.. Reason: title change |

Hey Tonphanan, great job on the customs you have done. I'm very happy to see Scoop get some love by someone making a custom of him. Way to go and thank you for making my day.
Of course I've been trying to put together a custom Scoop myself. Thanks for posting your custom because I was trying to find a video camera that was 1:18th scale to go with my 25th version of Scoop. I wouldn't even think to look towards that Godzilla line. I was just going to repaint the one that came with the original ARAH version of Scoop. Now I might have to look for the one you used on Ebay. As far as the camera around his neck goes I had the same idea to try and make a mold of the camera on the torso of the original ARAH Scoop. I saw another member on here do the same thing a few weeks ago by making the mold of another figure's parts. For the rest of the parts I was thinking of using goes as follows... Head = 25th Ace or Fred Arms & Torso = 25th Snake Eyes mold. (The comic pack Duke that came with Red Star would work the best for this.) Legs = 25th Beach Head/Firefly mold (I plan on attaching the hose from the camera to the pack on the left leg of this mold with a peg I will modify on there.) Vest = Green Tactical Combat Vest from Marauderinc.com Helmet = ARAH Scoop with modified 25th Snow Job goggles (I would make them translucent red and also cut the molded red goggles off of the ARAH Scoop helmet) I might even use the red goggles that came with the comic pack Firefly. Another plan is to use the new helmets that come with Ace and Wild Bill in the TRU SRO packs or the one that is coming out with Airborne. Backpack = ARAH Scoop modified to fit 25th figures or the Radio Backpack from Marauderinc.com Gun = HK SOCOM “MARK23” Automotic Pistol w/ Silencer from Marauderinc.com or the one that came with the ARAH Scoop. Binoculars = Modern Era Tiger Force Duke or binoculars from Marauderinc.com Camera = Molded from ARAH Scoop torso or I might just use a Lego Minifig camera. Video Camera = Repainted ARAH Scoop video camera or now thanks to Tonphanan the video camera from the Godzilla line if I can find one. Wrist Communicator = 25th Toxam or Xamot. I think that's all the parts I was thinking of using. One day when I get some time I hope to get started on this custom. If anyone has any tips or comments for me please let me know.
