Hiss Tank.com was in attendance at Wizard World Philly this weekend, and we have some minor coverage of the event.
There were a few things worthy of G.I. Joe fans attention. Greg Horn best known for his art on the G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Comic 2-Packs was in attendance and gave us a few minutes of his time. Our sponsor Stylin Online was also there with their gigantic steel cage as usual. The last thing of note is Jaran Studios is producing a new comic book this fall called Dread Force , a story about Transforming Robots that come to earth and attempt to wipe out the human race.

Greg Horn best known for his art on the G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Comic 2-Packs was in attendance and gave us a few minutes of his time. Greg was at the show selling prints of his art work and signing autographs for fans. We asked him if his work on G.I. Joe was over with the 3 covers he did for the comic 2-packs. He responded with great news, Greg Horn will be doing 3 new covers for the G.I. Joe Comic 2-Packs. he was unable to tell us what figures would be included with the covers he was doing but he did say the art will Include Zartan and another with The Baroness.

I thought it was overall pretty disappointing. I had tickets all three days and had to twist my own arm to get down there. I guess it's the economy. That Baroness and Bazooka were great though. I saw a square headed Cobra Commander walking around too.
The one thing that I did like, however, was seeing all of the overpriced Joes staying on their racks all weekend long. I did break down and buy a Striker for $20, but soon after I saw them selling it for $25, like everyone else at the con.

That Bazooka cosplayer hit it right on. That's what Bazooka looks like currently on Devil's Due.

WWP was okay. I got a few of the hiss tanks drivers and some hiss tanks also. But they were well over priced. Oh well to all those that I met over the weekend whut up. It be great if joe con could come here. I'm sure it would do good I can't find joes on pegs in the store to save my life.
