Eh. I'm fine with the scale they're in now, but I'd much rather have NECA handle the license.

When Tali fans pass up a Tali action figure....you know its not good. I don't trust mattel to do better. Better that an off brand toy manufacturer does it.

With Neca, they'd be a Hell of a lot more expensive.

Yeah, but the sheer quality of the figures more than makes up for it. And if they added in an LED feature like with the Dead Space figures, I think it's no longer a question as to whether or not it's worth the price.

True, but there's no guarantee they'd do that.

So I recently started a NG+ Insanity run in ME2 (Suicide, I know) as a Vanguard.
Umm... are things SUPPOSED to be this easy, because I'm steamrolling mercs left and right with only one death due to getting careless in the last segment of Jack's recruitment mission. Freedom's Progress, Mordin, Jack... I still have Garrus and Grunt left before Horizon.

I attempted a Hardcore run just because of the ease I have doing Tali's recruitment that way for the Geth Rifle. I thought the same way you are until Garrus' mission and Horizon. What I encountered was a crowd control nightmare, especially since that is not something I'm good at in ME2. Found the armored Varren ludicrous and incredibly deadly. But it was the Husks at the end of Horizon that convinced me to give up...at least as an Adept. Maybe I'll try again as a soldier before 3 comes out but I'm thinking it'll just wind up as frustration I don't need.
As for Soldiers, the Mattock and Hardened (I think) Adrenaline rush is basically an "IWIN" button.

I'm curious which class do you guys consider the best in Mass Effect 1 & 2?
I'm asking because in both of these games, I only played as a soldier as it seems to be the easiest. I love the Commando or Shock Trooper designation too. I always choose Commando. For any fellow soldiers out there which do prefer Commando or Shock Trooper? |
