Even Video games. Does this madness know no end?
I'll assign your game an abitrary number for only 5 bucks! I've said it before and Ill say it again; I mean, who doesnt want to be told by someone they dont know, whos credentials they also dont know, how much their toy is worth? Last edited by Dark 5cythe; 04-10-2008 at 06:13 AM.. |

I have a CRS rated 75 Original Blue M&M (slightly eaten). I'm selling it for $1300. It only cost me $25 to have the Candy Rating System rate it and put it in a special zip lock baggy.

It makes me angry that some used games are almost impossible to find for a decent price. I'm talking about games that have been out of print for maybe 2 or 3 years tops, yet can only be found USED for well above what they cost new.
I like having a game collection, but the main reason I buy games is to play them. I'm not going to pay $60 to play a used game that was $30 new two years ago. I am a MOMC Joe collector, but for some reason I find the concept of collecting games and keeping them unopened very strange. I know some people feel the same way about figures, though. |

I have a friend that pays the big bucks for the rare games, plays them and then sells them and gets all or more of his money back....that is a good way to go. Just like any toy, games have common, uncommon, and rare titles, and there are people that collect them just the same. They do not need to be packaged to worth money. I have seen Super Nintendo games, cartridge only, sell for over $100! To be fair though, in my 38 years of life I have only ever personally seen one of those titles...ever, so it is very rare. |

AFA is a waste of time and money.
I collect everything loose anyway ( I honestly don't care what it's worth, I'm not parting with it!) so I'm anti-packaging....it saves space too! Loose Figure AFA Grading is even funnier to me! |

This is redonkulus.
I thought it was stupid that Game stores were trying to sell used copies of Sonic Adventure 2 for full, new price after the Dreamcast had failed and Sega switched to only making software. (BTW The store was selling Dreamcasts at the same time for $20 while the game itself was $45) Now I guess I've found something more idiotic.....You bought a computer chip/CD encased in a plastic box that's been encased in another plastic box! |

Wow. Just wow. Proves the old saying still has legs, though; "There's a sucker born every minute, and two to take him."
I can understand AFA at least a little bit, ya know? At least you can see the toy once it is in their box...but videogames? What possible value does a videogame have aside from its play value?
