It would have been awesome if Microsoft would let Raven Software out of the CoD dungeons and make another Hexen/Heretic game.

Trying to temper my expectations some- on the one hand, it's absolutely bonkers that they're going to hype something a week before the full unveiling of their next console, so one would hope that it's something worthwhile. On the other, well... I mean, it is a week before the full unveiling of their next console.

That said, I'd absolutely buy DKC, any Metroid remake, and LoZ WW (AND Twilght Princess) has been one of my biggest wants since the console launched. I've become convinved that Nintendo logic dictates that the Zelda ports are such obvious low-hanging fruit that they've come all the way around to being impossible.

It is crazy that a normal direct is happening less than a week before the Switch 2 direct but hey it's Nintendo. It's not a mini direct either, it's listed as a full direct.

I forgot that there's some Kirby robo game rumored. I don't think it will have all that I listed either but it would be nice if one or two of those that I listed show up.

I think we might see WW HD and MP2 HD. I think the issue with Twilight HD is that the Wii U version just didn't look very good and Nintendo wasn't happy with it. The gamecube, wii version used a lot of motion blur and took advantage of lower resolutions to hide ugly textures and without those in the HD verion it just looked kinda ugly.

Yes. Heretic and Hexen are two of my favorites.

I feel the same way about COD campaigns. Some newer ones try adding extra mechanics, but I always return to the classic linear cinematic formula. MW3 from the original trilogy is a favourite for me, too; it had such a strong sense of finality and action-packed sequences that I was hooked. Cold War had some good moments, but the mix of styles made it feel disjointed.

Whenever I take a break from FPS games, I usually get into CS2 and trade skins to change my loadout. It's easy to swap skins through sites like SkinsMonkey, so I always manage to refresh my inventory without much hassle.
