I really enjoyed the Dead Space remake and played it through multiple times. My only nitpick is the dismemberment doesn't feel as good as the original games. Like it's a bit finnicky at times to shoot a limb off. One of the biggest gripes with the original trilogy is that other than the debacle of 3. The dlc to 2 opened up all these plot lines that just got completely abandoned for the third game.

It also doesn't help that EA kinda devalues their games. I paid full price for the original trilogy on 360. I was busy working when the remake came out and didn't buy it immediately. When I finally got around to wanting to play it a few months later it was free on PSN+.

Same. EA is terrible at everything, these days. They completely lost all the ability that led to them becoming the largest video game publisher in the first place.

I'm wondering what sort of anarchy and craziness the switch 2 is going to cause lol. I'm betting this is gonna be a Wii situation times a hundred. We might see some old school 00's lines of people fighting over them.

I think we'll be good, as I understand it, the reason they didn't release itat the end of last year was to ramp up production and avoid that.

Of course, Nintendo is still Nintendo.

Did you pick up Xenoblade X? I picked it up yesterday but haven't played it. I did play it on Wii U but didn't get far in it. I'm still trudging through XBC 3 on chapter 5. It took a long time for 3 to click in for me. It wasn't until chapter 4 that I started really getting into it.

Not yet, but it is on the list. I've actually never played a Xenoblade game, although I just picked up the trilogy within the last month. I'll probably start in on it after I finish up the Castlevania Dominus Collection and Assault Suits Valken Declassified (Cybernator).

I've finished up DoS and OoE, such a great value getting all 3 DS games for only $25. I really like that they were able to get the sound tracks on it without it being compresses like the DS versions. I've been saving Portrait of Ruin, it's my favorite but I hate grinding Jonathan's sub weapons.

I like the Xenoblade games but they are massive and can easily take over 100 hours to beat. You got a big mountain in front of ya starting the series from scratch lol.

I'm a very old hand when it comes to the Castlevania series, having started all the way back when 2 was the newest entry, but the DS titles are among the few that have escaped me over the years, so I'm really looking forward to them. I wish it had only cost me $25, though- I'm "physical only", missed the LRG window, and they only just started shipping, so $65-ish was the best I could find. I still feel good about it, though.

Yeah, the sheer size is one of the reasons I've put off the Xeno series so far. I also tend to skew more towards fantasy over sci-fi when it comes to A/RPGs, although I've loosened up a bit there in recent years.
